HORZE Desta Adult Synthetic Leather Zip-Up Half Chaps for English Riding

Nice quality but the sizes are VERY SMALL. My daughter is a size 0 to 1 in Juniors and the small and medium we're both too small. Have reordered in a Large because they do feel and look very nice.

An adult women's small wouldn't even fit a petite 88 lb. 14 year old.

I measured according to the directions, and even ordered one size up to be on the safe size, but these were still way too small to zip up.

I purchase these half chaps for my 14 year old who rides weekly. She loves them! They fit as expected and it is a great value for the money.

As a long time rider, and someone who has worn Konigs for the last 20 years, I was a little hesitant about ordering these. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. These are to get me through until I can get new boots, and they are working great! They fit me surprisingly well, and are better quality than I expected. They ARE $45 half chaps, but you get more than you paid for!

Too tight! If you think you are one size, get the next size up! Luckily, they stretch but the trim does not and that's where I'm having trouble. It's awkward trying to get them on as they zip in the back. So I tried zipping from the front and turning them around but almost broke the zipper. Otherwise, I like the material. The large fits my very skinny teenager fine so he can use them, if that tells you anything.

These half chaps were bought to make dress shoes look like boots in a starters costume, and they would have been great if they fit (I bought them small so that's on me). However, I ended up using a friends half chaps as she is a rider and the chaps were ARIAT, so I had a recent comparison and obviously the expensive ARIATs won. However, I doubt these would last very long compared as the zipper and overall quality of the materials was hardly a fraction as nice as some mid-tier half-chaps! I would say you should save up to buy some nicer ones, but these would probably serve you well in a pickle where you were desperate for half-chaps that wouldn't embarrass you in a show! Would buy in a pinch!!

Die Weite der Chaps an den Waden entspricht der Beschreibung, hier muss ich den meisten Bewertungen tatsächlich widersprechen - wer liest ist klar im Vorteil. Ich muss allerdings sagen, dass die Chaps vom Schnitt etwas seltsam sind und unten am Fuß sehr weit/ offen im Vergleich zu anderen sind.Mein Manko allerdings, weshalb sie fast direkt zurück gehen: unfassbar schlechte Qualität! Bereits beim ersten Anprobieren musste man beim Reißverschluss zumachen sehr aufpassen, dass er richtig läuft, ansonsten platzt er direkt wieder auf trotz guter Passform. Nach 2x Tragen hat sich an der einen Seite nun schon Material gelöst wie auf dem Bild zu sehen ist und das trotz gepflegter Lagerung und Handhabung, ich will nicht wissen wie sie nach mehrmaliger Verwendung aussehen.Sehr enttäuscht!
