Healthy soil that makes a noticeable difference in plant growth
I picked this soil because I wanted something nutrient-rich that would support healthier plant growth without needing a lot of extra additives. It has a light, well-aerated texture and drains well, which makes it great for both indoor and outdoor container plants. I also like that itโs already pH adjusted, so it takes some of the guesswork out of planting. My plants have responded really well when using this compared to more basic soils. Personal thought: Good soil makes a bigger difference than people think, and this is one of those upgrades thatโs actually worth it. It made gardening feel easier because I wasnโt constantly trying to fix or adjust things. If you want to give your plants a strong start without overcomplicating the process, this is a great option.

Great Stuff,
I baught this on here because i wasnt driving to my nursery for a bag at 40bucks. It is very VERY light and yet still holds water nice if you live in dry warm climates you might want to add some small composted wood shavings to hold water. Or buy some other amendments. I start all my plants in this and plan to finish, WHen i transplanted my seedlings from a 16oz container into a 1 callon Resin molded contain they just exploded within a week i had new shoots and they just seemed to love the airy loam this provides. If growin peppers this is great on its own. Ph is good my run off is aroun 6.4. around 6 with nutes added. If growin say medicinal plants then i suggest adding in some Vermiculite or another water retentioner. i water when plants tell me too some of my conainers i placed on a tray because the heat will evaporate it in these hot summers. So the top will dry out within a few hours but get whisked up like a sponge. Amazing quality and one big bag. About the size of a large bag a of dog food.. I recomend this either as a stand alone or a key ingredient in a mixture. I prefeer to take this whole bag and add in about 4 parts vermiculite and sometime some composted sawdust or bark the bark for more acid loving plant. Im growin 8 varieties of peppers, 3 citrus trees and a few unmentionables.. What i did this time was take a bag of this fox farm happy from 2-cubic feet added fine mulch some composted grass and dead leaves and then added a bag for wormcasting. Havent fertilized once in 3 month and all green, ( Tip top your plant leads young they will form v then i top those to for another and then so on.) Once the canopy is established i skirt my up to about 6 inches and remove the lowest suckers. Happy Frog alone is good from start to finish but if added ammendments are use then you have a super rich soil that can last atleast 2 years in a container. IF you want to over winter or are rootbound i cut the bottom of the bucket add in another bucket i drill 4 holes in a square on one bigger one in the middle. I lay gravel or small rocks in the second one and fill 2/3s with Happy Frog and compost. I prune some roots and the tops and seperate some tangled roots and set it on the bucket, You could also just cut the bottom of the bucket dig a hole half the length and just set it in the ground., Spread some tomatoe feed which is mostly bone meal in the whole along with a pack of matches. You now have hybrid container garden and can easily chart, All in all this soil will do anything you want it to. Came in a big box with the bag iside. Happy gardening. Its march in MI and i have half my garden started already unde 200w CFL.

High quality stuff, soil and dirt arenโt the same. Reason for the 4 stars is based on price.
Nice product, after sifting worked well making soil blocks and starting seeds. Pretty expensive, but I feel it is a good investment for the garden.

Outstanding soil
Part 1: This soil is essentially perfect for most applications straight out of the bag. It is light and airy and offers excellent drainage. Nutrient wise it possesses bat guano, worm casting and aged forest products, as well as the necessary microbes to break it all down for your plant's consumption. All this means it will definitely get your plants off to a good start without having to use additional fertilizers. The only amendments I would add is some coco and perlite. I actually decided against adding perlite because it already has some in it. I did add coco coir though. It makes up about 15% of my total volume. My plant sprouted exactly two weeks ago today, and it has had no need of food, nor has it showed even the slightest hint of 'nute' burn. Talk about a happy medium. Will I have to feed eventually? Probably. But as a germination/veg soil this is among the best you can buy. I have the Fox Farm's Trio for such a time my plant needs more food than this soil can provide. Part 2: -Several days later and even though my plant is catapulting itself into veg, adding a new set of leaves every other day or so, I haven't fed it a drop of fertilizer. The leaves are a healthy green and the plant is growing a new set every other day. I'll add a part 3 to indicate the first time I had to feed.
