Callaway Golf Chrome Soft Truvis Golf Balls, (One Dozen), Prior Generation

For years of just being a once or twice yearly hacker, I didn't care what ball I used and would often find bargains on the internet for recycled balls. Many were great and I liked a variety of the name brands. Now that I'm retired, however, I am playing more and more. Whereas I could not previously intelligently discuss feel off the club, great spin, softness, etc., I now can speak to those things and more and more grasp how different balls react and how they feel to hit them with all of my clubs. Having said all that, I now focus only on top quality balls. Don't listen to those who say higher end balls are only for low handicappers or pros - nonsense!! Quality balls can help improve anyone's game in a variety of ways. I love these Callaway balls and will keep buying them (and a couple of other similarly priced balls from competitors). Well worth the price. If you're a higher handicapper like me and have a tough water shot coming up, maybe keep a couple scrub balls in the bag until you get it over the wet stuff - otherwise, use top quality and feel the difference!

I like this ball Truvis technology from a visual standpoint. This ball is a little more difficult to find or to see from a distance than other balls, but the feedback around and on the greens makes it worth it. The ball itself is amazing. Very soft as the name implies. I find that there is very good spin on full shots and a lot of distance on off the driver. A great gift for a patriot. And I highly recommend everyone try a dozen of Truvis balls just to say you've tried them. You may be a believer.

True Story - My friend (he was a regular Chrome soft player) and I (hit Chrome soft only a few times previously) used these Truvis yellow/black golf balls for the first time yesterday for a regular round of golf. We both broke 80 with these balls. For him it was the first time...ever, and let's just say it's been a few years since my last sub 80 round. We're both around a 15 handicap. I know you can't judge a ball on one round, but needless to say our first impression was ...WOW!!!! They provided excellent distance off the tee and great feel on and around the greens! Based on one round of golf, highly recommend these balls. Looking forward to the next round. I honestly think the design does make it easier to concentrate on the ball when you're hitting it.

Callaway Chrome Soft is a superb golf ball. Love the Stars & Stripes on the ball but ...... do not purchase these golf balls from the seller known as ---- Ever Onward LLC. They are not a golf ball distributor.They buy the golf balls from Dick's Sporting Goods for $44.99, get free shipping, and then have the balls drop shipped to you for a ridiculous price well over $50.00 a dozen. I have the UPS shipping paper to prove it. You should never pay over the $44.99 per dozen currently offered by Amazon.I did report this to Amazon and see that seller is not listed for these golf balls now. Great work Amazon.

I got these balls as a Birthday present...I am a 20-25 hdcp...70 years old...They are pretty looking..lol...but to be honest I like my Strata Boom balls and Taylor Made Distance plus...It's probably a great ball for a big hitter...with plenty of money...lol..just like Pro V1My swing speed is slow...I hit them straight most of the time..Get yourself some Golf Dotz...very cool invention and cheap to stick on your golf ball...The clover is cool...This is just my opinion...not fact so see for yourself...as a present great to go out and buy at 30.00+ NO WAY...

I have been using these for a few months now and they really are great around the green and for putting. They tend to hold up pretty well and I like the feel of them off the club face. I wouldn’t recommend spending money on a mid-grade ball if you still lose them a lot because it can get pretty expensive quickly. I played the Taylormade Tour response for a while and these are very comparable in price and performance.

Loose balls.

I prefer pv1s off the T box but around the green theses are great. I love the feel off my wedges and putter. harder balls can feel kinda clunky like they jump off your putter but these are soft and feel like they come off the face smooth. Also good quality with cheaper balls a few good hits with my wedges will scuff the balls, but these chrome softs hold up well.
