I have been eating guava jelly for about 73 years. My mother gave me my first PBJ at around 3 years old. It was Palmalito guava jelly, (the best). About 10 years ago I noticed that the Palmalito that I bought was now a paste instead of jelly. I called the company and was told they had to change their supplier of guavas. That was my last jar of Palmalito. I then began my search for a replacement. I tried everything I could find, even buying some in North Carolina. Most all of them were similar as more a paste than jelly. I stopped looking and resigned myself to never eat another PBJ. You see, I never have eaten a PBJ that wasn't guava. So after about a 4 year period of no PBJs, I came across Conchita guava and decided to try it. Wow, I was ecstatic. Although it was not as "full" in texture as Palmalito, its very close. I have already ordered several more jars. Thank you Conchita. Childhood memories are the best.

🇨🇺 I have LOVED Guavas, since childhood! I used to make, from scratch Guava Cookies! ( Masareales ). I would make them on the weekend, & by Wednesday they would be: GONE! All GONE! 🙄 By now, I’m on the lookout for excellent products, that are reasonably priced, & easy to put together! 🍊🍋🥭🍌🍍 An easy meal! Or in this case, an easy dessert! Desserts were always my favorite part, of the meal!😊 This brand Conchita, was totally unfamiliar to me! But in my view it’s:🌟 Excellent!🌟 The perfect dessert, after a delicious Latino meal! Perfect guava preserves. Cannot buy in grocery store, so thank goodness for Amazon.
