I do a little craft work with beads making bone bracelets and it's very important that you can get a needle through the holes in th he beads. These beads are not uniform with regard to the hole diameter. I was only able to use about half of the beads. I tried to save myself a special trip to my favorite craft store but that didn't work out.

I had to ask around how to fit a tiny piece of my hair (braided) through the pipe. Thanks to a great hood with experience, I learned that you have to put something like a paperclip, or if the hole is bigger (like I thought it would be) a bobby pin works. Without knowing this I twisted a tiny piece of hair through it like a thread; i used anti-frizz conditioner to sleek it down, but didn't work. The first time I tried it took me 1 hour to do three pieces of hair; after that I just lost my mind....then regained it. BEWARE: the holes are small!!
