My ferret had diarrhea and it cost me numerous expensive veterinarian bills. I even introduced it slowly mixed with other foods knowing they had changed the recipe. After taking it away and fasting my ferret for a day, feeding probiotics and prescription soft food, he returned to normal. Other wysong foods are fine like epigen 90 digestive support. **Q: How long does it take one ferret to eat a 5lb bag?** A: Good morning Emily, Thank you for your question. Since ferrets should have fresh food and water available at all times, it would depend on how much your individual ferret eats to determine how long a bag would last. For your reference, there are approximately 17 cups of food in the 5 lb. bags.Thank you, Wysong **Q: Which food is better this one, or the ferret epigen 90 digestive support?** A: neither. this brand gave both my ferrets horrible and dangerous diarrhea. Many of the other reviewers had a similar issue ## Frequently Bought Together - Wysong Ferret Epigen 90 - Starch Free Dry Natural Food for Ferrets, Brown, Model Number: WDFE905 - Oxbow Animal Health Oxbow Essentials Ferret Food, Vitamin & Mineral Rich Formula for Ferret, High Protein Food & High Fat, Small Animal Pet Products, Made in USA, 4 lb Bag - Marshall Pet Products Premium Ferret Diet Dry Food, 4 lbs – Balanced Nutrition for Ferret Health, Supports Digestion, Muscle Maintenance & Energy Levels --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/5791586-ferret-epigen-90-starch-free-dry-natural-food-for-ferrets](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/5791586-ferret-epigen-90-starch-free-dry-natural-food-for-ferrets) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
