These really are lightweight, and as a person who is not a plaster professional, they are good for me because I'm probably never going to get as smooth a finish as a pro. I like the handles, they're easy for my smaller hands to hold. They move the plaster/mud around on the wall fine and help me when I'm trying to 'feather'. They do have these little rivets that show through the metal though, and it's hard to see them on photo. I imaging for a professional who can otherwise obtain a smooth glasslike surface, this might not be the set for them. Works for me though.

They come in a triangular box that I could not get them back into -- but that's okay because they'll be stored in a small wooden frame I'm making for them.I like that they are such precision stainless steel -- not a flaw on them anywhere. I also like that they come with little edge-protectors to keep the edges from getting dinged up, both in shipping, and in storage between uses. They are very thin stainless steel, but they are also very rigid -- they won't bend and cause buckles in the plaster or drywall mud. The corners are a bit more rounded than I would have liked, but they're still a nice smooth, rounded tip. Between the three of them, there exists all the angles I think I'd ever need -- 90-degrees, 75, 60.As I said to start -- a very nice set, and at a reasonable price. Gets my full 5-star rating, without hesitation.

These are very nice tools - well make, highly polished, with the blade to handle fastener just making a small dimple in the stainless face of an otherwise perfectly flat blade. The handles are comfortable, at least for my use, which is not all day every day. I have been working on doing one wall at a time, and this set really works well - much better than other steel trowels I have been using for the task. These are probably not full on professional tools for someone who uses them heavily every day, and they are not priced that way. They are very nice for the semi-skilled person doing their own work on their own home or homes.

I've been needing a new set of clean trowels and I finally REALLY needed at least one stainless trowel after I drained down my swimming pool to do various repairs .I didn't want to employ any of my carbon steel trowels and end up with rust stains in the plaster .I was eyeballing my grout floats , but those aren't ideal for the job to say the least .Problem solved with this set .Very good price on a set of the most handy profiles .All stainless blades with securely attached , cushion grip aluminum handles .
