Sellery Light Weight Aluminum Body Pole Pruner Tree Pruner Head

I purchased this pruner head for my extendable tree limb pruner that I have had for many years. I may have been able to purchase a new blade for my old one, but for 30 dollars I thought I would try this new head. It works very well and will cut limbs as big as my old one did. I can't report on how long the service life will be, as I have recently purchased it. It is working great so far, and that is all I can ask for. TS

But it works well for what it is.

I bought this because it gave ME the choice of a pole. I couldn't use one with a L-O-N-G pole & the telescoping pole only added weight, making it too hard to use, I just mounted it on an old rake handle & it's perfect for me. Anything I can't get with this, I'll get a younger person to do. Seems to be good quality. Rope lanyard with handle is plenty long, way longer than just my rake handle. Plan on using on very small branches, maybe less than 1".

Looks good, just like you'd expect from photo. Shipping from Hong Kong was very quick. It should work fine for reasonable pruning if you don't go for especially hard limbs in some of the oaks an so forth. Those might be OK if not too big. For heavier work, you may want to spend the 50 bucks or so for one of the professional arborist's versions.

Fit like a glove on my old fiberglass pruning pole. Works like a charm. Good deal for the price.

Arrived quickly from China. Very light duty model. It fit my original “Fiskars” fiberglass pole ok but the old saw holes did not line up with this heads screw and tab. ( drilled the blade to make it work) The strength of the cord/pulley is about half of the old model I had. Only able to cut pretty small branches. As with anything else, save a buck up front then wish you’d just have paid extra for a better unit. Not a bad device really, but only for very light trimming, to be sure.
