I have tried dozens and dozens of shampoos over the course of my lifetime and this shampoo is by far the best. It makes my hair smooth and shiny - other shampoos make my hair dry, dull, and frizzy. Also, I don't like shampoos with strong or even medium scents because it makes my sinuses cry and my nose hairs stand up in revolt. Buena Skin's Argan Oil Shampoo has a very light scent that is barely noticeable.It's been out of stock for so long and I'm almost out. *sobs*

My hair has ALWAYS needed conditioner, or it's so tangled and knotted that I can't get a comb through it. I read that this is because shampoos rough up the scales along the hair shaft, and conditioner coats and pastes them back down. Not the nicest thought, huh? I gave this shampoo a try because of the reviews stating that conditioner is not needed. It's true! My hair is clean, shiny, and very soft. My comb glides right through. The oils it contains do their own conditioning (or perhaps don't rough up the hair shaft to begin with?). My hair looks beautiful, shower-time is faster, and I have one less product to buy.My only complaint is that the foil seal under the lid was partly unsealed, and when the bottle arrived, some of the shampoo had leaked out and soaked the bubble wrap that was wrapped around it. I'm so pleased with the product that I will continue to buy it regularly (unless the price shoots up). If this leakage happens a second time, though, the seller will hear from me! UPDATE: The second bottle arrived properly sealed, so I am pleased.

I purchased this for dry hair that started after menopause. I picked it do to reviews that said it was helpful and it did not smell perfumy. Well, I had a hard core allergic reaction to the perfume. It was heavy perfume smell, that I had problems breathing, and gave me hives. I waited for my hair to dry so I can try to wash the smell out. When it was dry, my hair was even more dry than before and felt like straw.

I love how it smells and have gotten compliments because of it. The shampoo suds up great unlike some other natural shampoos. I also love how few ingredients are in it but even though my hair looks shiny and healthy after I wash with it, I end up with a little dandruff and itchy scalp-which I have never had an issue with before. Unfortunately this isn't for me. I typically have oily roots with dry hair. I can imagine this shampoo working out well for normal hair though.

I keep getting disappointed with other Argan oil shampoo due to inconsistent product, one time it’s nice and thick the next could be so diluted it’s like water... not this brand, great consistency, light smell and lathers well, most importantly my hair and scalp like it!

I liked the feel and the basic result of this shampoo on my hair. But, I had intermittent psoriatic events after use. I was too dumb; too cheap to stop using this product. I imagined another source, anxiety, etc. I had an allergy test for 100 possible allergens. None! This item has roughly 21 ingredients which a standard allergy test may not include, certainly no test would include one marker for the plethora of ingredients together. And, therein is the rub. Perhaps the overly ambitious mix of ingredients was my antagonizer? After I stopped using this product and switched back to the classic baby stuff I no longer had these psoriatic events! The good news: no animal testing, just humans.

This shampoo was very light & smells great! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the lather. I have to wash my hair 3 times to feel really clean: But I have a lot of hair!

I received this as a gift from my mother, whom I inherited thick, unruly/curly/wavy Italian hair from. I thought shampoo is shampoo, whatever. But this is curly hair crackIt's compromised of mostly oils, so it's not a clarifying or deep cleanse. However it's gentle enough to use if you still feel you need to wash your hair almost daily. I rub straight into scalp and rinse with cold water.It's become a token of my hair care. I went two weeks without back in February and was able to notice my hair felt...thirstier.A surprise gem, really.
