MOES Zigbee Smart Switches 2 Gang, No Neutral Wire, Require MOES Zigbee Hub, Double Inteligente Light Switch, Compatible with Alexa Google Assistant, Support Tuya Smart Life

I purchased the MOES Zigbee 2 Gang smart switches without a neutral wire for my home, and I am quite satisfied with their performance and ease of use. These smart switches provide a simple and efficient way to control lighting without the need for a neutral wire. Their compatibility with Alexa and Google Assistant platforms makes lighting control even more convenient, allowing voice control or mobile app operation. I also appreciated the support for Tuya Smart Life, which adds extra flexibility in choosing smart home devices. However, it’s worth noting that I had to return the switches because I couldn’t install them in all sockets. Partial smart home setup wasn’t acceptable for me, so it was a deal-breaker. Nevertheless, the MOES Zigbee smart switches proved to be reliable and effective devices that significantly improved lighting control in my home.

I ordered this product and had my electrician install it. I also ordered and installed the zigbee hub. The switch will not connect to the app no matter what I do. I had my electrician come back and he couldn’t figure it out either. I’ve been trying to figure this out for so long now, I’m out of the return window by a month so I have literally wasted my money. Don’t buy this. It sucks and I’m out of at least $250 now.

Worked out of the box with Home Assistant and Zigbee Home Automation plugin. Just follow instructions for pairing and HA discovered switch and individual light switches immediately. Will update on durability later.

Easy to install and setup. Worked great for two weeks and then the Zigbee radio died. The switch still works fine as a physical switch, but I'm unable to connect with it for smarthome purposes.

I have a total of 3 of these switches installed, 1-single and 2-dual gang. All of them are wired "non-neutral". Installation of the switches is as easy as it can be although the screw terminals feel a bit flimsy. Regarding functionality, the single gang and 1 dual gang work flawlessly. Unfortunately the second dual gang switch keeps dropping out of the zigbee network, comes on shortly after a hard power cycle via the breaker. The 2 manual switch buttons keep working fine so it is a connectivity issue. After a couple of emails back and forth, I got a replacement from Moes which worked well for a week and then failed the same way. Moving them to a location close to the coordinator showed the same behavior. After getting power the switch connected to the network and then lost connection again after a few minutes. Will have to look for another brand that is more reliable and consistent.

You have to jumper the neutral and the instructions are pretty trash for non-electricians but I like the switch and once I figured out the install issues I've had zero issues.

Don't be confused by MOES stuff saying "zigbee"; it is not compatible with actual regular zigbee equipment, only MOES' own spin of it. Also, there is no integration with Home Assistant presently, despite them saying there is. It does connect to Alexa, but it will still require the moes smart hub. As a switch, it does work reasonably well. Just DO NOT expect this to work with Zigbee, it's not Zigbee it's MOES' own proprietary crap version of zigbee.

I was never very fond of it because it's slow to respond to local buttons and attempting to press both buttons at once only changes 1 relay, but a couple days ago it just stopped working. It sent some erratic zigbee traffic and otherwise stopped responding. I unplugged it for a day and tried plugging it back in without any luck. It's completely dead.
