Ok so the only thing I didn’t like was the wifi connect issue when I first got it, I couldn’t connect it for the life of me. Got my bf involved and suddenly it was fixed. Turned out it wasn’t that difficult but I have a masters and couldn’t do it. So you might need someone techy to help you. It’s not Australian electric plug so I also had to buy a converter. Once these things are fixed you will be so happy with this machine!! I set it so my cat eats before I wake up, so she doesn’t wake me up for food. And reduces her meowing at me for food. We’re still using packet food at night so haven’t fully transferred but I think it will be amazing when we do. The battery life is fantastic. I left it off for a week and it was still at 80% but then I charged it and it went to 90% so not sure if it’s indicator is correct or it really does just have an insane battery life. It’s very solid. My cat has already tried breaking it open and failed. I now have it between some dumbbells so she can’t knock it over either way. It’s been a few weeks now so I think it’s safe to say it’s not easy to break into. I love that I can give her a little 5g snack if I’m at work if I want to just to make a little surprise in her day. The machine feels very good quality and looks very minimalist. And I’m quite a picky person. It does make a noise when the food hits the plate, so you need to have it somewhere it won’t wake you if feed her before you wake. It gives you alerts if there is a disconnection issue or the food is low. The app works so well with the machine I’ve had no issues. And it’s very user friendly. As long as her kitty litter is nice and clean I could go away for a day or two no worries. If it was longer I’d want someone to come clean her litter but otherwise could probably go away for a week or two with no issues. Could not recommend this more to cat owners.

So far, I love this feeder. I bought three. I’m really happy and relieved because I had been looking at automatic feeders for over a month and ended up buying some that I had to return because my cats were able to get extra food out of the food dispenser. Two of my cats are a little chunky, so that was one of my main concerns when getting another. Pros: -Very secure! My cats haven’t been able to get food out of the top and they haven’t been able to get food out of the hole where the food dispenses. They stick their paws up there and try to get food out and so far, no extra food has fallen out. I even saw another review that said their cat learned to knock the feeder around and extra food would fall out, so I was nervous about buying these, but I haven’t had that problem. I even shook the feeders around to test it and it was fine. But if you do have a very determined cat, I’d suggest getting some Velcro stickers for the bottom of the feeder to hold it in place so it can’t tip over, because they’re on the smaller side. -Food dispenses at pretty much the same time. I bought three for my three cats and all the food dispenses at the same time, if not one or two seconds apart. -Very sleek and modern look. Most automatic cat feeders are 4 liters or bigger, so I like that this one is smaller and doesn’t take up so much space. -Rechargeable batteries. You can choose to keep the feeders plugged in and charging while using them, or you can unplug them and have them off the charger. -Battery life. I’ve had the feeders off the charger for almost four weeks now and two of them are at 40% and one of them is at 50%. So the battery life is really good. -App is very user friendly and easy to use. Also, easy set up, as long as you switch your WiFi over to 2.4ghz. Once you set up the feeders, you can switch back to 5ghz. I was having an issue at first with the app. The food would dispense on time throughout the day and then it wouldn’t dispense again starting the next day. I kept having to go back in the app and manually turn them back on. I was so confused. I thought I had them set to all days of the week cause in the app it says “repeat” and then lists all the days of the week. I contacted the customer support and they were super helpful and they told me I need to actually tap the days of the week in the app to get it to repeat lol🤦‍♀️ so they work great now and dispense at the right days/times. There are many more pros, but those are the main ones that stood out to me. Cons: -If you have multiple feeders, I wish there was a way in the app for the “feed now” button to dispense food from all feeders at the same time. Or I wish there was a way when you’re setting up your pets schedule, you could select all feeders and set them all up at once. Instead you have to do each feeder individually. -Portions. The portions are a little weird. They go by 1/24ths. I feed my cats blue wilderness and each portion is approximately 30 pieces of kibble. Sometimes it’s a little more, sometimes it’s a little less. Nothing major though. I do wish they had better portion options. I like to give my cats a “late night snack” and the first portion is too small, but the second portion is too much. These are definitely not deal breakers though. The pros far outweigh the cons. And as long as the feeders keep working as they should and I get a few years out of them, I will be very happy!!

DO NOT BUY. I used to love this product for how easy it made feeding my cat who cannot self-regulate her meals. HOWEVER, I came home after a 12 hour work day to find my 13 year old senior cat, who relies on the feeder for food while I’m at work, STARVING. The app was experiencing a service delay and NOT A WORD FROM PET LIBRO to communicate this. I had to find out through TWITTER/X THAT THIS WAS HAPPENING. It’s been like this for three of the past 7 days recently. Customers service is only 9-5 available through a measly report ticket— for how expensive this terrible machine is, they should have around the clock customer care. This is poor management and what an awful response from their team. My advice to you if you’re looking for a timed feeder for your pet: get one with a physical, reliable timer and not one that relies on a cloud to function.

UPDATED 6/2024: See prior issues below. Raising from 1 to 4 star. I was able to navigate the WiFi issues with Pet Libro and my WiFi Provider - having dual network of 2.4 and 5ghz that are not seperate network logins was causing issues. My wifi provider was able to keep it on the 2.4ghz. That solved that issued. However, I still keep it plugged in as the battery tends to decrease 15-20% within 1 day. I appreciated the small sizing of the feeding, however, it was not always consistent and my cat(s) were overfed at times. Overall, I lvoe the app and connectivity. However, I'd recommend this if youre not stringent on some variation in serving size and can keep it plugged in! I'm looking into their RFID feeder now to better suit my needs. ---- Original review: Likely about to return this product if Pet Libro is not able to resolve my issue. It is beyond cat proof, besides the bowl that loosely sits there. So beyond the bowl, i have no issues and my one cat is beyond determined to get into anything that has food. However, if it is unplugged from the wall (battery power not wifi Ethernet), I have continuous wifi issues so my determined cat will cause that as he attempts to get it in. My issue is the wifi will continue to disconnect although it says high connection, my battery has varied between 0-100% even though I have it plugged in (at one time it said 0 and would not operate). Just put it together a couple days ago and the problems started after just one day. Also the portions are not accurate to what they state. So definitely do a couple immediate feeds and measure what comes out. UPDATE: pet libro has not responded after 72hrs and my cats are missing feedings.

My use case is that I have one cat who will eat himself sick, and two who don't. So the two are on chip feeders and the third gets regimented, limited feedings with this. Works great. The petlibro app is pretty easy to set up, no jamming, rechargeable battery lasts for weeks. Automatic settings get retained even if you haven't logged into the app for a while - I don't think I've used it since I set it up, and the feeder has a red light on that means it lost its network connection. But it keeps chugging along like it's supposed to. My best friend has three of them. She uses them differently - she manually feeds the cats with the app, and separates them while they're eating. But she's got a sketchy back and this means she doesn't have to bend over as often. My third cat (the one who overeats) has a habit of smacking the hell out of the feeder when he's hungry. He hasn't managed to get inside it, but he's knocked it over and sent the bowl(s) flying more than once. If you have a more "active" kitty, I'd suggest gluing the plastic bowl into its slot and putting the entire thing on some kind of anti-slip mat. Worked for me.

This feeder was easy to set up with the app, and has been reliable as long as the wifi and power are up and running. It will notify you if something is wrong, like no power, no wifi, or low on food or battery. It works whether my phone is in the house or not. Best of all it can feed my cat at the crack of dawn so he leaves me alone for a bit. The entertainment value alone is worth it, as I love watching my cat fly to the laundry room the second the kibble hits the dish. What a chonk.

My cat is very food motivated. She lives and breathes all things food. In the past, she has found ways to get food out of every single cat feeder I’ve ever bought. She would headbutt the one so hard that it broke and would dispense food any time it shook. She caught on quickly and soon all she had to do was bash the thing with her head. So that one was a no go. The next one I bought had a manual feed button on THE FRONT of the feeder (stupidest idea ever imo lol). Needless to say, she figured that one out pretty quickly and so another one bites the dust. This one however has a hidden food compartment with a push button lock so she cannot access it, even if she were to knock the thing over with her head. It doesn’t dispense food when she paws at it or headbutts it either so a double win. No manual food button on it or any buttons at all which I prefer bc she is a smartass. Another positive takeaway from this feeder, She hears her food dispense and takes off faster than I’ve ever seen her move in her life. Literal dust cloud behind her. And my cat does nothing but sleep, eat, piss, poop and dream about food. So yes the takeaway is for 3 feedings a day she gets some exercise running to her feeder. Another win in my book✅ to summarize, great feeder and 100% worth the money if you have a food motivated cat like mine, perfect size for her and OH THE APP. So easy to set up and use and gives me peace of mind that’s she’s actually getting fed. (She likes to play us and act like she’s being starved so I’ll cave and feed her more) but the app shows me that she was indeed fed. It will also tell you battery life and if it needs to be refilled, if there’s an update or an error with the feeder etc. feeder is super easy to clean and there’s a removable stainless steel liner dish in the dish compartment to clean as well and to avoid bacterial growth. Dish is wide and the shape helps to avoid whisker fatigue. Only thing I’ve seen people complain about really is the servings are in 24ths so get ready to do some math with fractions.

Just like many reviews, the battery power option died in 2 days. Through much research on their website, reddit, etc. I made one attempt to fix it and so far I believed it worked. I will try to explain as clearly as possible. The biggest thing that seems to be the issue is that it cannot be connected to 5G wifi. It has to be 2.4. If you have EERO modem, is streams 2.4 and 5 at the same time. Through the EERO app, you can pause the 5G for 10 minutes to connect any devices that need the 2.4 network. I paused the 5G and then hit the reset button on the bottom of the feeder. It easily connected and ever since it has been perfectly fine. I did this reset on a Friday night and it is now the follow Tuesday and it's at 90. So it's holding it's charge wonderfully. So it held 100% for 3-4 days. If it continues, I am happy with the product. -- The app is okay. I can understand why some are frustrated with it but overall.. I figured it out fine. My cat is happy and so am I. I think the feed amounts are accurate enough. You can adjust where you need, just do the math. I feel the seal for the food is good, I am not worried about my cat getting into it. Overall, I am happy but the set up and having to figure out the battery issue should NOT be this hard (My reason for the 3 stars). I actually initiated a return before just giving it one last go to figure out if their was a solution. I hope this helps someone and it works good for you! So -3,000 stars for the set up/wifi issue, but now that it's working I would say 4 stars. Good luck out there.

Lo compre como medida para controlar cuanto come mi gato y tengo opiniones separadas, por un lado, me encanta el producto, la batería dura fácilmente más de un mes por lo que mantenerlo desconectado no es un problema. la app es intuitiva y fácil de usar, es cierto que hay funciones bloqueadas por una suscripción, pero no son ni de lejos las más importantes solo extras, como un historial, en líneas generales el producto cumple con lo que promete totalmente. también es cierto que lo que recibes por lo que pagas me parece un poco desproporcionado, más cuando existe dentro de la marca otro alimentar qué usualmente están al mismo precio y tiene mejores características y capacidad de almacenamiento, yo compre este en una buena rebaja y por eso me anime pero de normal iría por los otros alimentadores de la marca, si hay una buena rebaja es un producto excelente, si es precio regular, mejor ve con el alimentadores de 5L

The built looks good but when U you use it for long time it's obviously not built to last.. wifi connection is not stable.. less than year the battery is dead. 1 year 3 months the whole is cooked. Avoid this overpriced sub par product.

En mi terraza que tiene jardín a un lado vienen hormigas en busca de alimento . Me dijeron que ponga el producto sobre una charola con un poco de agua y esto impide que se metan las hormigas a comer las croquetas. El producto tiene mecanismo eléctrico en la parte de abajo así que no puedo ponerlo en agua por temor a que se dañe . O que nivel de agua 2 cms o 5 cms podría resistir sin mojar el mecanismo eléctrico , hay alguna otra solución?
