No more bending behind cabinets to turn lamps off!
I’ve used products like this many years ago but never bothered again until I noticed that my back isn’t what it was (I’m only 31, worryingly) so I decided to invest in these remote controlled plugs. Very cheap, I think at circa £21.00. They come pre-programmed so they literally are just plug and play. What makes these seem like a high quality product is the little magnetic mounting plate for the remote control. I’ve mounted it right next to our light switch so it just looks like some sort of smart home switch that is flush into the wall. When in use I can either use it as a wall switch or remove and have it as a portable switch. This also means that I can fully hide wires away now from my every curious 11 month old. Highly recommend these for any room, I think I’ll be buying more and linking them up to my kitchen cabinet lights and also mounting the remote next to the kitchen light switch.

Easy to set up and use
Bought inconjunction with some under cabinet lights. No fiddling around for switches in the dark. Just press the button on the remote control that I’ve attached to the wall. They work perfectly. To set up just press the button on the side of the unit and also the corresponding button on the remote. Done. Can switch them all on or off together or individually.Perfect. Just what I needed

Great for avoiding using the "big light"
Love these wireless plugs - they're way smarter designed than the usual ones! The remote actually sticks to the wall like a normal light switch which is super neat, makes it feel properly integrated instead of just another remote to loseUsing them for 3 lamps around my living room now instead of the harsh ceiling light. Such a game changer for the room's vibe! Only tiny quirk is sometimes you need to press twice if the plug's in a far corner, but honestly not a big deal. What really sold me was the magnetic wall mount for the remote - looks so much cleaner than having a remote lying around, and everyone knows exactly where to find it. Smart thinking by whoever designed these! If you're looking to control multiple lamps without dealing with smart home stuff, these are perfect.

Excellent
This looked perfect for my needs, but the magnets are not magnetic at all, so the controller just falls out immediately and will not hold to the wall unit. There are two metal strips in the plastic wall holder that are obviously supposed to be magnets, but they have zero magnetic attraction. I've checked with other pieces of steel and there is no magnetism in any part of this item. What a waste!EDIT: I returned this and ordered another. The new one is excellent and actually has the magnets. It works perfectly just as it should so I can now thoroughly recommend this item.

Wonderfully simple.
Great price for these remote plugs. Much smaller than the older tall ones. The remote and stick remote holder are an awesome addition. I have these set up in my 3 built in wardrobes activating led strips. The only downside is that, although the remote is less than 8 feet away number 1 doesn’t receive the off command. Moving the remote closer or further away and it works fine. Just not where I stuck the holder on the wall!! If you want Alexa or Siri to activate them then use the Broadlink IR/RF adapter like the RM PRO.

They work really well!
Bought these for 3 maps in the corners of our lounge and some being low down, it can really do your back in to turn them on/off.But with these plugs, that problem is solved! I attached the plate of the remote to wall next to our main light switch using strong sticky tape and now we have the choice of low lights or the main light. Really neat as well that you use the controller seperate and have the choice of having all or some of the lights on.Some people said that they didn't work for them through walls but ours work even when using the remote in the next room.Really impressed!

Works intermittently
Worked for a couple of times then stopped, replaced the battery reprogrammed the units and no joy, they only work when they want to, not impressed at all, they're going back.
