Review: Feeding Frenzy! - So here’s the deal — I tried that “fancy” brand that comes in the resealable zip bag (Hikari or whatever it’s called), and what a mistake that was. Twice the price, smelled like disappointment, and my goldfish literally turned their noses up at it. They looked at me like I just served them soggy cardboard. Then I switched to these Tetra Goldfish Variety Pellets, and it’s been a whole different story. First off, when my toddler inevitably tips the container over (which he does — daily), it doesn’t send tiny fish food confetti into the carpet where even the most expensive Hoover can’t reclaim it. These little pellets mostly stay put, and that’s a win in my book. But the best part? The fish love this stuff. Like, shark-week level love it. The second the pellets hit the water, they swarm the surface like a feeding frenzy. It’s actually kind of intimidating. I think they’d eat my finger if I wasn’t careful. So yeah....... cheaper, cleaner, toddler-proof (ish) or at least more so, and apparently five-star cuisine for fish. I’ll stick with this one. And I agree with others, it doesn't cloud the water like other brands. I'm not going to pretend to know anything about the ingredients, but they seem to like it more than whatever the other brand had! So itll be more effective in the long run!
Review: Excellent Value - Great! Fishy’s give it a fins up sign of approval. Left on a shelf outside and the lid is tight and the food stays fresh!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this ok from common goldfish about 2 inches+?**
A: A 2 inch+ goldfish should have a mouth big enough to handle these Tetra floating pellets. We like it for its floating feature, the water seems to stay cleaner longer.

**Q: how big are the pellets? "Bite sized" means 3/4." Wardley pond pellets are 5 mm diameter which are too big for gold fish under 6" long. I need 1mm.**
A: These are 2-3 mm in size, Brian. Our smallest are Tetra Goldfish Color Granules, which average 1.5 mm. Pond diets tend to be much larger than aquarium diets, since most young pond fish are grown up in tanks first.

**Q: which is better, these or the flakes?**
A: In my opinion, these are better than the flakes because they float and do not break apart as quickly as the flakes well. This means that the water stays clearer.

**Q: Aren't goldfish bottom feeders? Why is there goldfish top feeder pellets?**
A: I find that some of my goldfish (especially the smaller ones) prefer eating from the top of the tank rather than grazing at the bottom. These are called pellets but are very small and easy for them to eat.
