While I haven't played with it much in dirt or gravel, it has fallen off a desk, bed, and dash of my truck. It held up pretty well. The only thing that failed so far was one of the axles popped out from the wheel hub. It was a relatively easy fix, but the parts are small and having large hands didn't help with the repair process.
