The Water Pump pliers are superior to traditional channel lock style pliers. You get a much better grip on almost everything. The Pliers Wrench tightens as you exert force on it, unlike a traditional adjustable wrench with a worm gear that tends to loosen and round off bolts. Super well made. I have some clones knocking around in a drawer and they work well enough, but these are much better made.

Both of these are absolutely excellent tools and are top notch quality. The Cobra pliers offer outstanding grip on pretty much anything that you can fit them on, and the Pliers wrench is a true game changer. The Pliers wrench has almost completely taken the place of my adjustable wrenches, and offers a more secure hold on fasteners with less of a chance of busting your knuckles.

These are truly quality pliers and both serve their intended purpose flawlessly.

These things are incredible. I keep them in my truck, and they have bailed me out several times. They definitely are a handy tool for no more room that they take up in the toolbox. It's like having a set of wrenches and pipe wrenches in only 2 tools. I have been really impressed how tight they hold to the bolt or nut you are removing and how they don't round heads off.

My husband wanted these to keep his lunch box for when he doesn’t have access to shop tools. I was a little put off by the price haha but they’re less expensive than similar products found in big name stores. Hubby has had them for over a year now, and says quality is great and they were definitely worth it.

Indispensable. A few days ago I ordered the little 180mm spanner. I was under the impression that 180mm would be big enough... but in my enormous hands it is a little thing :-) SSOOOOO I couldn't resist a price drop on this pair when it "coincidentally" occurred soon after.... (good cross-sell Amazon!) I'm 100% chuffed I did buy them, for they round out the set perfectly. Like any tool-mad dude, we all have pliers, vice grips and plumbers grips, usually nice ones too and more than one set (!!).... but these KNIPEX tools are a class above anything I have. My tools are used, I love them, care for them... and some are 25 years old and served me well.... but now, sadly, they will be retired for these. They are simply that nice. They feel machined to precision, feel nice in the hand, grip both bolts (with one set) and odd shaped things (plumbers set) beautifully. One thing that isn't mentioned, is the incredible design of the bolt set grip *HARDER* as you increase the force on the bolt. Their ability to slip is *vastly* diminished compared to regular spanners or socket sets. This is a huge advantage. 100% worth buying, despite their relatively high price - a solid investment you'll not regret. ..... (NB: the pictures include the 180mm grips as well. I did this to show the size difference. Also note that my hands are very large, they fit XL gloves)

I am a commercial plumber for work. I carry a level, tape, and these to do 80% of my job. These seem expensive but when you use them day in and day out, it is so worth it. I have zero complaints, Knipex lives up to the hype and the price! The finish on the grips on these are nice and they are different which makes it easy to feel which pliers you are grabbing if they are in the same pocket. 10" is perfect to cover a wide range of tasks without carrying a full on tool belt. As well I have been very impressed with how fine of objects the Cobras can grip with the very tips of the pliers. The channellocks (that I have used and loved for many years) cannot compete in this area. Great gift idea for any tradesman you have in your life.
