Better than the luxury brands
Don’t sleep on Neutrogena for cosmetics. This primer is SO good. I purchased in a pinch, and now just don’t see myself going back to a luxury brand. It absorbs quickly, and makes your skin so soft before makeup application. I have combination skin with a little more oil in the t-zone by lunch. With this, my makeup stayed natural and shine-free without looking chalky and dried out matte. The niacinamide really seemed to help with not drying out my skin, while keeping oil at bay. 10/10 recommend.

Great for Sensitive skin!
After having Soo many products claim to be for sensitive skin this was great. It has no real scent like most can. I have super sensitive skin and this doesn't burn or make my skin dry or scally looking! Definitely a repeat purchase for. It's also a Great price point!

I recently tried the Neutrogena Matte Primer, and while it does have some positives, I can’t give it a perfect rating. I have very oily skin, and although the primer keeps me matte for part of the day, it doesn’t quite live up to its claims of staying matte all day. By midday, I find myself having to blot my face multiple times. It does help control oil for a few hours, but I was hoping for something with a bit more staying power. For reference, it feels smooth going on and does create a nice base, but it just doesn’t quite keep up with my oily skin throughout the day. I’m still on the hunt for a primer that can handle my skin type more effectively, but this one is okay for shorter wear. I’d rate it 3/5 stars.

Just got this yesterday.Love the matte finish. Have oily skin. This helps with the shine on skin. Very smooth on skin, blends in easy. Would buy again.
