This is a great bread knife. Is has the weight of good quality and is very stylish and fits in great with my knife block.

After looking at the many steels on offer I settled on this one as I have other Sabatier products and they are top quality. I wasn't disappointed with this. The manufacture and design are top notch with a triple riveted wooden handle and a finger guard. No cheap resin or plastic here. The steel performs superbly too and I'm sure will last for years. I'm pleased I settled on what I think is one of the best.

fed up of dull knives, after lengthy research i bought this.trusted band and 25 year gaurantee.Use it everytime i use my knives and it does not fail. Super sharp and cuts through paper effortlesly.remember this is a Honing steel NOT a traditional sharpenerlooks like it is a combined review for the bread knife as well- super sharp, looks sharp and does the job- my son manged to cut into skin with a simple slice whilst cutting bread. Definately need to rest the bread on a chopping board otherwise it will mark the underneath surface if not cut it

Very good knife at a very competitive price. Well constructed and really sharp. Handle is small but is was bought for my lady Jean (who loves it) who has very small hands. I am 6ft and 14 stone and, whilst usable, the handle is much too small for me. Might be useful if Sabatier do the same knife with a variety of handle sizes, you know, like Tennis racquets. Five stars for initial approval but it is difficult to assess how the blade keenness will hold up and whether upon sharpening the same edge will be restored. Mind you, that is the same with any knife I guess.

I am pleased with this knife it is one of a set of quality Sabatier knives I own and this one is excellent for cutting bread and rolls, it is a serrated blade, sharp and well made the handle is not too large for when my wife uses it, very happy with this knife.

Great knife. We grew tired of our old useless knife and this one did not disappoint. It can cut the freshest, softest bread just out of the bread maker. It's a great size, very sturdy, we've had it for quite a few months and it's still as new.
