Had to return this. My son said the mesh inside felt like sandpaper. I thought they looked & felt great. Well made & sizing was more adult than child, so they were a bit big, but not crazy big. I think a girl would greatly appreciate the sizing. I'm 5'2 & medium would have fit perfectly. Medium could easily go up to 5'6. Like I said, I think they're fine, 10 or old -- not so much
