Literal tears of joy were shed (breastfed baby temporarily moving to bottles)
These nipples are magical. At 5 months old, my baby was exclusively breast fed. I had to go on a business trip, and my LO would not take a bottle. Refused it (even though it was still breast milk). I was so stressed about leaving. I tried everything. I bought so many different bottle brands (tommee tippee, Philips avent, lansinoh, mam, como tomo, nanobebe, and Dr Browns), a bottle warmer, all of it. All of the standard nipples on bottles seemed too large and too fast for her. I didn’t want to buy yet another bottle, so I did some research and finally stumbled on these nipples. The pigeon nipple is smaller than most other brands (I can tell when I clean them) and feels softer/more flexible, more like a real nipple. And the SS size has the flow I need that mimics a breast (or as close as I’ve found so far). These nipples fit the Philips Avent and Lansinoh bottles (and idk if the bottle itself makes a difference. I don’t think it does, but my baby prefers the shape of the Lansinohs. Easier to grasp). And just fyi, we also incorporated an empty bottle into playtime where I’d mimic eating from one, then I’d put the lid on and let my baby play with the bottle. We did this every playtime for 2 weeks leading up to my trip. And finally. Finally. Two days before my trip, we tried a 1 oz bottle of pumped/refrigerated milk, and switched between bottle and breast during feeding. My baby curiously grabbed at the bottle (the same way she had grabbed the empty one during playtime) and brought it to her mouth. She began feeding herself from the bottle (laying in the same position as when she feeds from the breast), and she finished the bottle. I actually shed a tear in relief and joy. For anyone struggling to get their breastfed baby to take a bottle, I highly recommend these nipples. Game changer, at least for us!

Best for breastfed baby
I bought this for practicing my breastfed baby on the bottle. I love the flow of this nipple, it is not too fast and does not overwhelm my baby. My baby is currently 2 months old, i had her try this nipple since she was 1 month. She does not seem to need to size up yet but I do have the S flow nipple on hand already for when she needs it. I find this the best nipple for a breastfed baby. I have tried other bottles and nipples like Philips Avent and Evenflo wide balance, they seem to have a faster flow rate for my baby's liking. My baby also has not experienced any nipple confusion. She can take my breast and the bottle without a problem.

Holds up against teething babies
Absolutely amazing! My little one only uses pigeon for everything. She’s teething right now and she has been biting the heck out of the nipples but no issue at all! The nipples are holding their own and we have not had any issues with the flow. I’ve been having these for months and they are still doing great. I love that they last forever.

Great for newborn transitioning away from the boob
My newborn took to this nipple right away. I was EBF now transitioned to EP. Love that it works with the lansinoh bottles too / saves me money there. Con is that these are expensive for only getting 4 nipples. I would need 8 in order to not drive myself crazy washing bottles & nipples all day. With my other kiddos, I had to buy so many different bottles before so I'm glad we got it right the first time with this child.

EBF Success After Multiple Fails!
I could cry from relief and happiness. My EBF baby suddenly was having a horrendous time with not only his nightly bottle, but also at the breast more than half the day. Prior to 8 weeks, we had no issues. He EBFed for 9/10 feeds and then the 10th was a pumped Tommee Tippee bottle before bed so my hubby could help out. We really thought we had a routine established early... wrong 🙃 I have no idea what changed but we had days and days of failed feeds. Choking, gulping air, spitting milk out, tons of projectile spit up... Everyone was upset and I was super stressed out (and absolutely covered in milk). I scoured the reddit threads and lactation consultant recommendations and made a flurry of purchases to try (Dr. Browns, Lansinoh, Pigeon). First try was the Dr. Browns which was an abysmal failure. He hated how narrow the nipple was, wouldn't even take a single suck from it, and lost his little mind. Second try was the Lansinoh. Much better but figured I'd go ahead and just try to pop a Pigeon nipple in the Lansinoh bottle to see if it was any better or just stick with the Lansinoh. I love that the Pigeon nipple is compatible with the Lansinoh bottles! Turns out, he does like the Pigeon nipple just slightly more. I think it is a bit softer, and has a bit more texture that makes a deeper latch easier. All I know is that in 3 feeds, we went from scream crying to 0 screaming, no gulping/choking, no excess air intake, and way fewer burps and spit up. Win, win, win!

The best!
These are the best nipples on the market! My daughter had a tongue tie at birth and the SLP we worked with recommended these. She was able to eat much better with these and could get a great latch. They also fit Lanisoh bottles which is a plus!

Best nipples ever... buy it you won't regret.
I don't normally review items but this product have me in celebration mode! I want to say a big big thank you to the makers of this nipple. Great job you guys did it. I used this nipple with the mam bottle.... I have a 7 month old breast fed baby... he is very determined not to take a bottle... I tried so much other bottles. I gave the pigeon nipple a try and he couldn't refuse it. The nipple feels awesome. Thank you guys soooo sooo much. If I could give this a 100 star i would. No leaks.

Good for baby’s transition from one month
These Pigeon silicon nipples (size S) were purchased to facilitate the transition for my one month old, who is currently using the size SS. We have observed that she handles the size SS nipples relatively well at this stage. Some recurring issues is them baby splits out milk from the sides of her mouth and it also causes her to gag. We do own these other brands such as Philips Avent and Dr. Brown’s) and it does the same. In addition, their newborn/ one month nipples flow rate is slightly higher, which occasionally results in her gagging.

These Pigeon SS silicone nipples have been outstanding for helping my baby manage feeds more comfortably. The slow flow is truly slow—much better controlled than Philips Avent and other standard nipples that come with most bottles. Pros: Ideal for babies with reflux — dramatically reduced spit-up in our case Flow rate is genuinely slow and consistent Soft silicone with a natural feel Latch-On Line makes positioning easy and repeatable Noticeably better performance compared to Philips Avent and other brands Cons: More expensive than typical replacement nipples, but the results make it worth it In daily use: After switching to these, my baby’s spit-up dropped significantly and she feeds more calmly without choking or gulping. The difference was immediate and noticeable. Verdict: If your baby has reflux or struggles with fast-flow nipples, these are absolutely worth the extra cost. High-quality design and a genuinely slow flow that delivers real results.

Love the pigeon line. Doesn’t cause nipple confusion with my predominantly breastfed baby

I only use pigeon nipples for my two babies. They are way better than other north America brands
