I genuinely NEVER write reviews, but I just had to for this light. I was looking for a light with good timer settings, a large range of brightness, durability, and a sunrise setting. Let me tell you, this light does not disappoint. I got it for my decently planted 20 gallon long, and my plants love this light. They are growing like crazy. Not on that, but the sunrise setting is just amazing and so convenient for calmly waking my little Theodore up. It fit perfectly on my rimmed tank and does not budge. It is extremely sturdy. Also the wire is a good length, not too long or too short. It’s so strong; I have turned the top of the light into my own trinket shelf 🤧. Just an amazing purchase, I will definitely be buying this light again for future tanks. (Ignore the mess in the background of the pics)

Finally, a decent light for my nano cube planted tank.
This is the first light with a 24/7 mode that got it right (that I've tried, anyway). For example, the Hygger will start off with a reddish sunrise mode, white daylight, and end with gradually fading white light and replace it with blue for the "moonlight" mode. This isn't how actual daylight fades work; but thankfully, Seaoura understands perfectly that you have to end with a sunSET (red) before you get to the pale blue twilight. Is this essential for an aquarium ecosystem? Not really, but it's a nice aestetic that I suppose most aquarists can appreciate.I've had this Seaoura light on my little planted cube for about one week now and it's done wonders for the plants. It replaced a Lomine that was there for 6 weeks, supposedly had 10 watts and just wasn't cutting it -- the bacopas, saggitaria, and dwarf hairgrass were barely hanging on but not growing. In one week, the bacopas are about an inch taller already and the sag have been sending out runners. Love how the clean lighting also makes my flame endlers pop.The programming is easy on this model and doesn't require you to link it to a phone to start. Which is nice because it cuts down on the amount of apps overall and frees up the phone. Hey, maybe that shows my cantankerous oldie vibe, but this trend of downloading an app to your phone to simply turn on a light is ridiculous. I'm looking at you, Brite. This Seaoura light has it all -- reasonable pricing, intuitive operation, and good looks for a more modern style. It's bright enough for medium-light plants to thrive. This brand is likely going to be my next purcase for larger aquariums in my future plans.

Great for the plants and fish!
Absolutely love this light for my tank. Was not expecting how bright the light was. Even on its lowest setting it can keep a corner of my room lit up. I set up the 24/7 mode and it took me a sec to figure out how to push the buttons in the sequence it needed but once set up it’s nice. I like seeing the change in colors for morning and night. Set up on the tank is sturdy but watch out for how you set up the light on the attachment. I put it one way but wanted to change it half way through but couldn’t get it off so I left it on the side it was on. My little floater plants were dying before the light and now they are thriving.First photo with less plants was taken when I set up the light on Saturday and then by Wednesday it was the second picture. Almost completely full of plants.

Absolutely love
Honestly I really love this I have no complaints besides I wish the lighting could go a little bit lower and a little bit easier to control it but overall I'm satisfiedI have a 20 gallon tank (the ones at the pet store) with a lid rim and it was still easy to set up, it's very stable and definitely worth the money

the light it great at growing anubis’s and other high end plants too. no big complaints
this light is a really good one. so good i bought two. it has the option to turn down the power for anubis’s and other low light plants. i’ve grown so many plants with these lights. it’s in my option one of the better lights for a cheaper price. the white spectrum is great and pure white. it’s nice! i would rate it 5 stars if it was a little taller and it also works on all size aquariums. now the durability is …. I had to replace one because the white spectrum wasn’t working on arrival. and now my second is isn’t working anymore. I hate it cause i really light these lights. the ease of use is fine I guess. you can set all times of the day and leave it alone. It’s a great light for a budget.

Amazing light
Let me preface this review by saying that I am new to the hobby, but this light compared to a Hygger light that I purchased at my local fish store is far and above so much better.I have red root floaters that I started in my first tank, which had the Hygger light. They were growing and multiplying so I put some into my second tank, which had this light. Let me just say that what I thought was the plants doing well was merely getting by. The red root floaters that I put into the second tank have bigger leaves, more vibrant colors, and are nonstop flowering. I started selling the floaters on FB marketplace because they kept multiplying like mad.I added pictures of the two plants under the different lights. I even had to go ahead and put some from the second tank back into the first tank to fill out empty spots, and the difference is so easy to see. Look at the color difference in the roots even! They are called red root floaters, not white root! The light itself is easy enough to set up. It can be fickle having to turn it on at the exact time you want them to turn on rather than setting a timer, but once you set it you can forget it. It has a very short sunrise and sunset, but that’s fine with me and my aquatic friends. If I had to make one complaint, it would be that the light is blinding when I bend down to look at my tank. As you can see, I put up some black paper to act as a curtain, which seems to do just fine for me.Would, and did, buy again.

Highly recom
This little 7inch light is amazing ,the aesthetic of this light is why I decided to give it a try.For the price and functionality of this light I would say this is a 100% win I would definitely buy another one of these lights when I decide to set up my shrimp tank up! the unboxing process was a breeze, It was incredibly simple to set up the light. The stand gives you plenty of options to orient this little light for example my tank is not long it's a square. with the two sides of the moutining bracket I was able to set it up where it was in the center of the tank but the bracket was off to the left side of my tank , you see what I'm talking about of you look at my vid. If you have a long rectangular tank that's no more than I would say 26 inches long the 12 inch light would be a great affordable option , because it would be able to be mounted on either the far ends of the Middel or even offset Middel on both side it really up to you! Another reason I bought it is because of the 24hr feature I'm leaving out of town for 5 days I really enjoy walking up and Turing on my old light, and Turing it off at night . Because I will not be here to do that its rally important to me that my tank doesn't get to much light that could cause a green algae bloom. Who wants to see that after coming home formvacation.ill show you guys what I had on my 2.5 gallon freshwater tank, and post what it looks like with the new light ! All in all I would highly recommend this aquarium light for anyone looking to upgrade there lights without braking the bank . Thank you for reading this hope it helps! :)

Decent cheap light, be aware of blue tint
Decent light for the price, pretty bright, timer works, and my plants are growing fine. I have two beefs that lost this light stars - one is that the stands are a bit janky and were warped coming out of the box - I had to bend them to get the light level. Second, this is a very, very cool tone of white that comes out blue-tinted and doesn’t look natural at all to me.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Aquarium Light for Live Plants!
I’m very impressed with the SEAOURA Clip On Aquarium Light. It was easy to install, and the adjustable clip fits securely on my tank. The full-spectrum lighting is bright and has really helped my live plants grow healthier and greener. I also love the built-in timer and 24/7 sunrise/sunset mode, which makes the aquarium look more natural and saves me from having to turn the light on and off manually. The brightness and color settings are easy to adjust, and the overall build quality feels solid. For the price, this is an outstanding light for planted aquariums. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, high-quality aquarium light.

Great Addition
Perfect for my 75G turtle tank, the new tank topper I had purchased made the tank darker than before and I needed something to help brighten up her space. This light is bright, has many colour changing options, timer is great and the light can be moved in any direction to suit your tank needs. As you can see I don't have much space to put anything and this worked out better than I expected. Very easy to set up. My turtle seems to love it as well.

Good light but control needs some updating
Pretty sturdy and reliable though setting it is a pain as the modification UI is pretty dated. If they update the control panel to a digital one then this will be one of the best lights in the market for it's price point specially because of the built in elevation which is ideal for most tank set up to prevent algae bloom for most set up.

Great wattage for plants in a nano tank
Light just arrived so I’ll do a first day review. May come back and update if the light doesn’t work as it should. On first glance, the light is kind of bulky, not going to lie. As a light made for tanks that are of smaller size, I didn’t expect such a huge bracket. Bracket does work well and holds as it should. Light is easy to put into different positions as well. The installed the bracket backwards to avoid having all the bulk on the inside of my tank since I am building a custom lid.I have this light installed on a 5g Topfin Shrimp and Plant Oasis, for size comparison. So far, the controls are easy to navigate. I will probably use the timer, as I’m not sure I want 12hours of light in my aquarium. Will update once I find a sweet spot for my plants.Overall, I have purchased 5 lights from two other comparable brands, and this one is the highest wattage for a small clip on light. I wish there was an option to set different times like my Nicrew light but it is much more customizable than the comparative low watt Hygger I am replacing this with. For the low price, I think this is the best nano light you can buy without spending $100.

Good light, lots of settings & colours
Only had it for a day but so far so good! I will update it anything changes. It has many options for time settings. We like the 24/7 setting as it mimicks a natural day. There is also options to change the light colour and brightness if you're using the other settings. We have GloFish Danios and they seem happy with the new light from yesterday afternoon to tonight.Power flickered off today and the light has kept it's setting.(Don't be mad, this is only a tempory tank until our large tank is up and running!)
