Does the "Den" have room in it to hold a small bottle of Hoppe's oil?

No. I like that the den keeps my snake clean from debris or dirt from my pack. It also helps prevent smashing your bristles flat. What I did was get a dozen small canvas pouches and put 1-2 dens of different calibers inside with a small bottle of lube, a small punch tool, and a plastic pry tool. Then I put one bag in my bugout bag, my range bag, my truck, etc. It beats the hell out of just not cleaning your firearm and a more intensive maintenance is really only required once in a while in most cases. The other nice feature that isn't really clear until you have used a snake is that the handle makes getting it pulled through the action at the thickest part much less of a chore.

Is this the new one with the T-handle?

Yes, the lid of the “den” is meant to be used a T-handle. However, it’s not really needed in my opinion

Will the 22 caliber work for a 25 ?

I believe that the .22 is intended for the .223 as well but if you used it on .25 it probably wouldn't scrub as well due to the looser fit.

Will this work on the s&w m&p .380 shield ez?

Yep 380 is also known as 9mm kurz or 9mm browning. All .355 diameter
