Miracle Door Mat

This mat works great! I definitely recommend it to anyone who has pets who are in and outside a lot. Keeps the dirt in the house down.

This mat is very flat to the ground. You need to wash it to activate it, but I found washing did not really fluff it up. I imagine with time it may become more fluffy, which will capture more dirt and wet. I saw this mat in a demo, and it worked great, so hopefully it will get better with use.

Bought it for my back door to stop muddy paw prints... works as well as the bath towel I had there before. VERY DISAPPOINTED- complete waste of money

Its not earth shattering good, but it works better than the ones i have purchased before. Though it catches most of the dirt and wet, there is still aconsiderable amount that is tracked in. I have 4 large dogs and they tend to only put their paws down once before they are off of it. If you have large dogs, you may want to consider buying 2 and making it a runner.

After watching a demonstration at a local large Christmas Bazaar, I was fascinated by the results I was seeing. The representative literally put her entire shoe in a pan of muddy guncky water & stepped out on a white piece of paper to show how much would transfer to the paper & ultimatly on to your wood or carpeted surface! She then re-placed her foot back in the muddy gunk, & stepped on the mat WITHOUT wiping her shoe, then stepped off onto another WHITE clear paper. NO TRACE OF THE MUD ON THAT PAPER WAS TRANSFERRED!!! I was utterly stunned & convinced that paying the retail price of $70 was worth the price. My husband is in a wheelchair & we live in the Pacific NW, where it rains a lot! Knowing how much 'gunky' stuff can transfer onto his wheels of the chair & then on our carpet had me sold on the product. I bought the 30x40 & could not be happier with the produce. Costco was selling a "knockoff" version & I called my dad to see if he wanted one, as he was interested in how well ours worked, & he declined!! Said he wanted to get the same brand we did even if it cost more. He just got the 20x30 & asked me to order the next size as well, as he realized how much smaller it is. I WILL BE ORDERING ANOTHER WHEN I GET THE MONEY!!!

Followed the directions to pre-wash and that was fine. The mat though doesn't pick up the dirt from shoes quite as advertised. Using it at a basement door so better than nothing

This thing really is a miracle. I have two dogs that constantly track mud in from outside. We've had miracle door mats for the last couple of years. They hold up very well and they trap the mud very well. I actually bought a second one to provide even more protection at the doggy door. The instructions for washing are a little complicated (wrap it up in a pillowcase), but I find that my frontloading clothes washers on the gentle setting treats the mats just fine. I would definitely recommend this mat for floor owners. Just be aware that your dog, if it's like mine, may take a running leap at the doggy door and not do a good job of getting all four feet planted on the mat, hence my reason for adding a second one.
