Picked this up to connect my MacBook Pro to a Samsung Odyssey and it's been spot on. Crisp picture, no flickering or dropouts, and it handles the high refresh rate without any messing about. Just plug it in and it works, no extra software or faffing. Build quality feels solid too, the cable doesn't feel cheap. Does exactly what I needed. Connection is quite good

I used this UGREEN USB-C to DisplayPort adapter to run a 5K display, and it works flawlessly. The connection is stable with no issues. Build quality is excellent, picture quality is good, and it feels like a premium product with solid connectors. No drivers needed and does exactly what it promises. Perfect adapter for my Mac mini M1 2020 with a USB-C output to feed my monitor which has a display port. Works perfectly.

I have a 2 monitor, 2 PC setup. The PC’s are radically different, one is a desktop and one is a laptop. I connected them through a KVM box. The laptop connected to one monitor using USBC to DP and the other direct HDMI. My original £3 cable was a passive cable. Everytime, I switched back to the laptop, the DP monitor did not activate. The device manager said ‘Port Reset Failure’. After an in depth discussion with AI, it said I needed an active USBC to DP and not a cheap passive one. I was extremely doubting, especially because this specific product did not use the term ‘active’. However the AI assured me it was and would fix the issue. Anyway, long story short, I bought this one, and ever since there is no problem with the laptop monitors and switching between the two PC’s. 🤞

Adapter worked well

This isn't a negative review as such because I haven't even been able to test the product properly. My setup is as follows: Pc/Source > UGreen USB C to DisplayPort Adapter > DisplayPort to HDMI > Monitor. Bought specifically to get around the issue of my new work laptop not having DisplayPort ports, but even with support from UGreen's tech guys I can't get my laptop to detect my monitors and I suspect it's because they do not work with DisplayPort to HDMI cables. Should anyone discover otherwise, I'd gladly update this review.

As always with ugreen you get great quality, it ran the resolutions it was meant to. You always pay a little more for ugreen but it's always worth it in my book. All of it is solid and i dont doubt it'll last.

Works perfectly. I bought a displayport cable without checking I could plug it into my laptop, so this came to the rescue as I did have a USB-C port. No issues, getting high frame rates

Got it to connect my M1 macbook pro to an external display and it works great. Refresh with an HDMI 2.0 cable was capped at 120hz and the colors were off buy with the DP 1.4 adapter the refresh rate reaches the full 180hz and the colors are vibrant.

My laptop didn't have a DP port, only miniDP and USB-C Alt Mode. The HDMI port could only support 4K@60H, as it was an older version. So this was a lifesaver for connecting to the DP port of monitor via the USB C alt and getting that sweet 165Hz refresh rate! The build quality looks and feels top notch, but it has only been a week, let's see how it holds up in the long term. **OS Specific Experience** Windows 10 - Everything works perfectly on Windows - HDR, brightness controls, even Freesync/GSync (although I didn't get a chance to test GSync thoroughly yet). Archlinux - With KDE/Archlinux, HDR works fine. But enabling Freesync gives no signal. Disconnecting and reconnecting (or power cuts) also sometimes gives no signal, unless I do it from the lock screen where it works, so most likely something linux-specific, and not this adapter's fault.

Dieser Adapter überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Die Verarbeitung ist extrem hochwertig und er liegt sehr gut in der Hand kein Vergleich zu billigem Zubehör. In der Praxis ist die Leistung tadellos. Ich habe ihn laufend in Gebrauch und hatte noch nie ein Problem mit Verbindungsabbrüchen oder Signalstörungen. Er funktioniert absolut stabil. Ein qualitativer Adapter der seinen Preis definitiv wert ist.
