Dolce Flav Natural Coconut Extract – 2 Ounce Water-Soluble Kosher, Sugar-Free, Concentrated Tropical Coconut Flavoring for Baking, Beverages & Desserts, Includes Measured Dropper

This is a great coconut flavor. It might seem expensive compared to grocery store brands, but it only takes a few drops. I’m trying to drink more water, and a few drops of this and I drink water right down. Can’t wait to try baking with it.

This added a rich clean coconut flavor to my coconut cake and icing! Fabulous extract. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

A little goes a long way!

"Natural Flavorings" as in no admittance of coconut as a remote ingredient. Definition of coconut extract "Coconut extract is a concentrated flavoring agent, derived from the meat of the coconut, used for adding a strong, sweet, and nutty flavor to food and beverages". This smelled like coconut when opened it but when I added to my simple syrup yesterday, there was NO coconut flavor...so I added more and still nothing. Today I tasted the simple syrup thinking maybe it needed to infuse, but NO! Now the syrup had an "off" flavor, likening to something artifical saying it's coconut but but nothing close (closest I can think of is tropical essence hair conditioner). When I opened the bottle today it smelled like opening a bottle of rubbing alcohol (which is the second of the 3 ingredients, the last being 'natural flavoring'). This product is beyond disappointing and should be avoided. Here's the label that shows what this "coconut extract" really is...anything BUT. Now I have to dump the simple syrup and try again with a better more true to flavor product.

Fantastic flavor and fragrance! I've made coconut cake (awesome) and coconut bread (also excellent) with the coconut extract. Yummy!

No se siente el sabor

I bought this to add to my coffee, for my beachy coconut morning. The taste was good, but alcohol taste was almost stronger than the coconut. Mostly the 3 star because it really upset my stomach, and rarely anything upsets my stomach.

I got this to add to my coffee after seeing some reviews. I LOVE coconut, but know that the flavor can get chemical real fast so was a little wary. THIS IS WORTH IT. The flavor is nice and not chemical at all. The only bummer (and it says so on the box) is that it doesn't work well with hot products. I noticed that even after adding 5+ drops to my hot coffee, it didn't really add enough coconut flavor for me (I was using real coco squeeze bottle before, but it was making a mess). But when I make my coconut coffee cold brew style, 2 drops is perfect.
