Pretty Good for a Cheap Amp
This is a nice, small amp you can carry around easily. 15 watts is plenty for practicing and I even used it for a school talent show. I has two channels although I mostly use the clean channel with some reverb. One other thing I like is that I can plug my old Apple Ipod straight into it and play along with songs-Cool feature! For the money (around $150) it's a great deal.

Fun and small - this amp is a great addition to any lineup
Simple, straightforward. No computer needed (thankfully) this amp sounds good. I found the speaker a bit shrill, so I hooked up a looper pedal and broke it in for a few hours. Ended up swapping with a $40 Celestion 8-fifteen, broke that in, and prefer it to the stock speaker. Still give 5 stars because this amp has a lot of practical usability features. It's small, but not silly-small. It looks like an amp. It can get pretty loud, but sounds good at "2" and that's the reason I got it. I chose the model with effects. I don't use them, but they seem fine. I do like the 4 presets. The clean is a solid pedal platform and the overdrive, "crunch" and lead options just make it more usable to jam with. NOTE: This is my first Marshall. I have played a lot of them but never really felt I needed to buy one, they are everywhere you go. This one is replacing a katana 50. I have the artist and that is great but the katana 50s are a bit digitaly. This little marshall, while of course solid state, sounds good across the volume spectrum. IMHO, of course.

Great little practice amp.
I’ve had this amp for 7 months and it works great and the sound is awesome. It’s a great practice amp and small so it doesn’t take up too much space.

Nice little practice amp.
Well, I know this isn’t a tube amp, but I was wanting something to play at lower volume levels and could chug a bit of Marshall tone. The boxes I received were beat to heck, but there was no blemishes on the amp. After unboxing the amp, I noticed a bit of a rattling inside the the the amp, so after removing a bunch of screws from the closed back I had a couple surprises. There was a real spring reverb tank, and it had come off of the mounting springs that attaches to a plastic base. Apparently this happens with spring Reverb’s occasionally, three of the mounting springs were very short, but one was too long and I had to rig it into place a bit, as noted on a pic. I took off one star for that, and the back is really a tight fit, and wasn’t easy to get off without damaging. This amp isn’t the loudest, but has a decent bass response due the closed back. It has a 15 watt 8 ohm speaker, which didn’t blow when I cranked the amp all way for a minute. Would be nice to have an external speaker jack. The cabinet is MDF wood, and was heavier then I expected. The amplifier has two circuit boards in it, one appears to be for the power section only, with a bank of capacitors and one power transistor with a large heat sink. The other circuit board appears to have the potentiometers attached to it, and has quite complex circuitry. Overall I like this little amp, happy to say the spring reverb sounds great, and it has a decent Marshall tone to it.

Defective when arrived. Troubleshooting doesn't exist.
My amp is defective when arrived. No sound, no lights, nothing. I'm not angry, as I have watched enough YouTube to know that this is a great amp (for this price range) from a great brand. But let it be known that a certain percentage of this product is defective, and I got the luck to receive a defective one. An extra note: It is mentioned on the user manual and the brand's website, that this amp has no serviceable parts. It is confirmed by customer service that even the tiniest problem has to be checked by their engineer, and "there is no troubleshooting to repair". So, if you receive your amp with any possible problems, just save your breath and return it. Which disappoints me a bit. Not angry, but disappointed.

Merci Amazon et Marshall...Ray the man.
