The 10kW inverter works pretty well. Setup was a little complicated for my use case. I am using this in an off-grid configuration to power a few high-power devices in my home and garden, most of which have their own Transfer Switch for when the Sun goes down. I have 2 solar arrays in my backyard which work well with the 2 MPPT inputs. My 1-unit system has enough power to run a 3.5kW Air Conditioning compressor with a SoftStart module in the summer (I highly recommend a SoftStart module for inductive loads like HVAC), or 1-2 electric heaters on cold winter nights. The inverter is installed in a special corner of my basement. I installed a special box with breakers and ran wires and conduit to all the places I need. The internal fan makes a little noise, but the beeping can be turned off. The batteries I use are just some golfcart LiFePo batteries. Their PC software for USB works, but divides some voltages by 4, probably because they reuse their firmware code for 12V models. EDIT: took me a while, but I figured out the included wifi data logger module only works with its special app. I had a minor configuration problem, but Customer Support was very responsive and sent me the correct Voltage parameter logic to make sure I don't keep cycling and clicking the relays on cloudy days: 15<12<04<14<35<37<05<(09,11). Overall experience is positive. Very nice box with a lot of integrated functionality.

I had an issue with flickering lights throughout the house, every 45 seconds every LED in the house would flicker for about 5 seconds and then go back to normal and it would just repeat this over and over. I tore my hair out looking for a solution, I turned off every circuit in the house except for one and noticed the flickering stopped, I narrowed it down to one circuit and a problematic Keurig coffee maker and now that that's removed this inverter works perfectly. I bought 16 x 100 amp hour 12 volt batteries in a series parallel setup coming to 19.2 kilowatt hours of storage and a 7.5 kW solar array on my roof and I am grid connected but I've only used point 5 kWh in the last month to supplement the house when I use too much power overnight in the batteries run dry. I'm currently using home assistant and solar system on raspberry pies and it is a game changer

This inverter has been working flawlessly so far. The 10000W power output is more than enough to handle multiple appliances at the same time, and it runs very efficiently. Installation was straightforward, and the system feels solid and well-built. It’s a great option for off-grid or backup power systems, providing stable and reliable performance. I just got a used 10000w 48v sungold from Amazon couple hundred cheaper then I can find anywhere to add to my two others to get me 125 amp at240v each phase.. I just seen it was delivered but I know the ups and down on these unit so I’ll leave a review from not being paid to. These units do what they say but they do eat a little more amps in your battery’s then other brands at same size and even more like the eg4 12000 is double cost but consumption is like 2 amp less .. so if your packs at what states as investors and your needs of power you won’t get it with this .. just on idle ready to go into a load this thing will each a 48v 100ha 5120 wh in a few days just on stand by.. that’s allot of power lol so I would buy a extra pack if your at the border line of battery power. . But they also say they are 66 d in noise but really they are not load they are quieter then the eg4 6000 and the 12000 . So that a big plus … only thing I don’t like is the cooling it pulls air from top pushing it down to the bottom and this really is not smart hot air will raise so it’s way better to push air up like most name brands. They are very easy to set up compare to other name brands and all I can see I ever get from mppt is 60 amp charging and got 6 packs that’s only 10 amps each and makes for long charge. With shore power charge I’m hitting 200 amps .. my solar should be hitting over 100 amps so I got a mppt and put a y on my panels and using a separate controler to help charge packs I do not want to pay to charge and with this my packs are showing each pack is taking is 18 amp and I wish this 10000 w would do that but 200 max charging means 1/3 solar 2/3 shore or generator .

Work perfectly after 4 months

This inverter / charger is amazing. I power a large food truck with mine being fed by eight 51.2V / 100AH batteries, and I regularly run it at 7-10kW output. Eight months in, no issues. My only complaints are that the AC input and output terminals should be larger. It is extremely difficult to feed stiff 6 gauge wire into them. They are barely large enough to accommodate 6 gauge - which is the minimum size that should be used in the application. Also, be sure to check the internal grounding lug near the terminals. I discovered that this was only finger tight on mine. This would have caused issues if had I not noticed it. In my application, it runs the following: a 240V hot dog roller grill, a commercial microwave, two large rooftop air conditioning units, a bun warmer, a warming cabinet, a induction cooktop, two refrigerators and a stand-up freezer, and all indoor and outdoor lighting and electronics - simultaneously if I need to. It's a beast!

After a lot of research, I chose this 10KW inverter/charge controller for my first solar system and I'm very happy that I did. It has been running flawlessly for 5 months now. Currently I have 3.6KW PV array on 1 of the 2 PV channels and 21 KWHrs of LIFEPO4 battery capacity. The output of inverter is wired to my home panel via multiple single circuit transfer switches. I'm a retired controls engineer with a small business at home so this type system works great for me. I can selectively power any circuit in my home except a 13KW tankless water heater. I installed the system primarily for grid down backup but I've used it so far to shave around 75% off my electric bill. Had a minor issue during during startup and contacted Sungold. They responded promptly but I had already found problem was insufficient battery for a large inverter and corrected. Sunny also contacted me recently to follow up on problem. I highly recommend.
