Love these, I have 3 pairs now, for me and friends. Great for walking in the snow, ice, even on hard surfaces where the snow has been swept or salted away. Most importantly, they are easy to get on and off your boots/shoes, even when your hands are cold. Very good quality.

Recently used these in Austria on snow and ice covered walking paths. Well worth the expenditure to have confidence walking safely on ice.They are well made and of solid construction and the rubber framework for holding the spikes in place is powerful.It is not easy to put them on but once they are in place they stay put. They are best fitted whilst wearing one's boots so for those with a less than supple body may find it difficult. We have tried putting them on the boots before wearing the boots but the rubber framework requires a lot of force to pull it over the boot, so bracing the stretch of the rubber against the leg muscles with the boots being worn makes it easier to fit them.Cheaper options are available but as we have discovered they are not so well constructed as these Pogu spikes.

Seemed nice at first, but there is no connection between the front and rear spikes, which allows the rear spikes to slip over the heal of the shoe. This has caused a few slips on a slippery slope. The competition (kahtoola) does have chains running from the front to the heal part stopping the this from happening.

I did not find that the Spikes suited the conditions that I was walking in - that is, the snow balled quite badly under my feet. BUT when I explained this ( with photos ) to Pogu, they were kind enough to give me a full refund. Thanks for that Pogu.

Used in Scandinavia last month. Very, very good. Not little studs, these teeth really dig in and gave me the grip and confidence I was looking for.I'm glad I paid that few pounds extra for these.

We live is an area where the roads and paths are not cleared by the local council. I Purchased these to give me confidence on ice when walking the dog. Only used the a couple of times but they are great. Easy to put on, with the added bonus of the securing strap, and so much better than the ones that only have a coil of wire on the sole. Thoroughly recommended.
