This review is being made during 2nd season of regular summer use, May-August.The first year of use it was ok, it didn’t heat water as we had hoped but after several weeks the water finally was warm enough to swim. It does help keep heat in water once water is heated up from the sun.Now to 2nd season use. Mind you this solar cover was stored inside garage after being cleaned and and dried fully after the 1st season use.We got it out and could tell a difference in it from the prior year, just felt less durable is all I can think to explain. After about 1 month of use into 2nd season, we started noticing the bubbles were denigrating! We had a filter screen full of plastic bubble pieces. It just continued to get worse. Then it started ripping in several places!So just know this product is fine the first pool season, if you only use 2-3 months, but after that you might as well just plan on buying another one.

I have owned 10 or more covers over the years. I've only had it a couple months, so I don't know how long it will last but is the thinnest material of any I've used. So thin, it is difficult to spread it over the pool.

Ez to put on

I had a solar cover before, and it lasted a full three years and then it wasn't even ripped, but just too dirty and had white chlorine and calcium stains, so I threw it away. THIS ONE started to shred and tear after only 9 months, but we kept trying to use it until now, one year (almost to the exact date) that we purchased it. The filter was getting clogged with tiny shred and little pieces of blue solar blanket. What a disappointment. I purchased the roller at the same time (and that works great!) so I assumed the blanket would last even longer. Not so! I'm now in the market for another one but I will most likely not purchase from Sun2Solar again.

We've used this product several times. None of the pool covers last more than a couple of years. The cheap ones even less. This one has proven to be the best product for the price.This seller has been great! FedEx misdelivered the cover to who knows where. I contacted the seller, and after confirming that it was misdelivered, they sent a replacement within a week. I will use these folks again.

After only one season in salt water pool, the bubbles are falling off and clogging the pool filter.

This cover is great in helping keep some bugs and debris from getting into your swimming pool. Its a great cover for when the nights are chilly. It uses the suns ray to help warm the pool (not very much but some) and retain some of the warmth of the water

I go through one of these every 2 years. There's no way around it. We are "daily testers" of our water, and our pool is always perfectly balanced, so it's not "extreme chemical use" that's destroying these things. It's just cheap plastic--even the 16 mil version. The face of the "bubbles" wear off, leaving tiny circles of plastic floating in the pool and the filter. No matter what we do, this thing wears out every 2 years like clock work. Worse part of it all? The last time I bought this, it was $100 cheaper. Seriously? I think I'll go back to NOT using one at all and see what happens...
