ULTRAfiller+ Thickening Shampoo

A lot of my hair has fallen out since March (it's now October). I had started using estradiol and that can make it fall out. I didn't have a lot of it to start with and my hair is naturally very fine & straight and the hair shaft is thin so it has NO body. I tried another body-building shampoo and I hated how it was so orange. So I tried this Frieda hair-thickening shampoo. I look like I have a thick head of hair! And it makes me look significantly younger. I'm really happy with it.

This shampoo is the best, I have tried many shampoos stating it gives volume but the John Frieda is by far the best I have used thus far with a good price for it as well. There was no bad smell to it the fragrance to it was light and not overwhelming, it gave a lot of bounce with softness and shine to it. it deserves 5 stars

Honestly, I do not see a lot of thickening here. However, I am happy that my semi-permanent color did not all wash down the drain with this shampoo. The reason I love it, is the smell. I LOVE fragrant shampoos and this is a classic scent. I love the fact that when someone gets close enough, they can catch a whiff of my clean hair. Love it!

I can’t recommend it enough! Smells great, adds volume and thickness from the very first use, and leaves my hair feelings and looking great. Highly recommend!

I have tried so many shampoos but none work very well for my very thin hair. I've tried this one now and it seems to be doing better and my hair does not get that greasy in between shampoos.

The description states 200% fullness; not true. My hair is fuller but not 200% but I still really love the shampoo and conditioner! Also the 2 containers look exactly alike. So if you wear glasses you’ll need to take them in the shower with you to read the labels! I used red nail polish and wrote 1 and 2 on the containers so I can quickly identify which one is which.

Woah, magic shampoo. I bought this after reading that it won the 2025 Allure Best Voluming Shampoo. I have been battling fine hair my entire life, and I can hands down say that this is the first shampoo that I've ever tried that feels actually thickening, ON IT'S OWN, without seven other products. I'm still trying to figure out how they do it. I got a compliment on my hair at work on my first day - what?! My hair looks full and healthy, has smooth and easy combing, and a very very light clean smell. Incredible value for the money. Well done formulation team! 👏

This is quite possibly the best shampoo I have ever used. When I was younger, I had fine, perfectly straight hair that just hung there. As I have aged, the few gray hairs have come in coarser and a bit curly making my hair mixed. While I love John Frieda shampoos, I hate hate hate that they introduce them, I find one I like and then it just disappears and they come out with a new one. Let me keep the ones that I like! Anyway, I bought this one when they discontinued the last one. From the moment you start to lather, you will feel a difference. Thick, silky lather! I even checked the directions - you don't have to "lather, rinse & repeat". I usually do out of habit but have tried to lathering once and it does work. I want a shampoo to make my hair feel clean and not like it has left a bunch of gunk behind and this one does seem to rinse all out. And my hair feels different. Yes, it feels thicker - with more body - but more importantly to me, it feels really silky and smooth. Please don't discontinue this one - I want to keep using it!
