I have tried one other brand of diabetic socks. The one issue I have with my usual brand is that they were made of so thin a material that they do not last very long before I start getting tears and holes in them. I wanted to see if this brand would stand up better to wear. My initial impression is that they are made of a heavier material than my usual brand. They are very soft and feel good on my feet. These socks feature a cushioned sole which is nice as it gives a bit more padding then my other socks, without making the socks too thick to fit into any shoes (dress or casual) that I might be wearing that day. These are 1/4 height so they come up just over my ankle. I am a size 10.5 shoe, and I usually wear a wide (depending on the make of shoe). Most socks are so tight that they leave a mark on my ankles by the end of the day. These do not - they don’t feel like they are squeezing my feet but at the same time they don’t feel flimsy and like I’m floating around in the sock. In the morning I walk my dog and I put on boots (since either the grass is wet or it’s tick season). When I came back from my walk this morning, the socks had dropped to below my heel. So the wide top, while it does not “squeeze” your ankles, may not hold its position in certain circumstances. This is pretty much the same for every sock I wear though that is only ankle high - only when I wear crew height socks do they not either fall down or get stuck in my boots in the morning. (So I would not take a star off for this - but wanted to mention it). The box says that it has a “smooth toe seam”. I’m not sure what this means exactly - when I put my hand in the sock and feel the toe, I can feel a line at the front of the sock easily. But when I put them on, I do not feel that seem at all, as it is on the top of my foot in a place that doesn’t rub up against anything that would annoy me. Overall, I like these better than my existing brand. They are also less expensive by about 25%. The only thing I cannot determine until I have used them for a while is how well they will compare from a durability standpoint. I will update this review in the future if I have any concerns.

Did not meet my expectations. Sock did not have hardly compression. Fits like my every socks.

These socks seem to be perfect for the individual who has issues with ankles and feet swelling. The elasticity in them makes them great fit. The socks seem to stretch with you when your having issues with the swelling. The thickness of them is great and they don't feel to bunched up when you go to put on your sneakers as with some other socks. I have had no issues with the top of the sock leaving that painful indent when the ankles swell. The seam in the toe of the sock is so well stitched together that you don't feel it all. I have ordered many pairs of these because I have had and also my husband has had very good outcome with this product. The money you spend is absolutely worth it.

This socks is fantastic. It is gentle to your skin and extremely comfortable to wear. My skin is sensitive and can be easily irritated by material such as wool, some polyester or advance material from some of the socks. I can wear this all day long without any discomfort. It does not bind tightly to your skin as it is fairly elastic. However, I am not sure I can use this as running socks due to its lose fit. It’s fairly breathable and it’s not too thick. Overall, great quality.
