elope Guitar Superstar Hat w/Hair

I gave this hat 4 stars because it is perfect for the Slash costume for my husband. The picture on the ad shows a lot of hair. It definitely is not much hair at all. It was one row of wig hair sewn into the hat. The hair was completely see through. We cut the hair off the hair and bought a different wig and it all worked out well. If your expecting a full head of rocker hair, it's not all that. But the hat, I can't say enough about it, perfect! It was still worth the $$ even having to cut the hair off.

Got the job done. I was concerned with the reviews about it being super flimsy but it held up well for Halloween. If necessary to keep it standing tall just put some material inside the hat. I did not have to, but just know it is not a hard hat, it is made out of soft material, which was good for me because I travel to different cities to celebrate Halloween with my friends, so it made it easy to pack in my suitcase.I have curly hair, so I cut the hair off this hat. It is such cheap and crappy hair. I would recommend to do a Slash costume justice, that you purchase a separate wig. I think this product is overpriced because the hair is crappy. I think the company should just make the hat and cut the price a bit.

It has a little less hair than I wanted it to have, but the listing picture is accurate. Still wish it had more hair none-the-less.

I expected worse with some of the reviews. Fortunately, mine came in great condition. It does come flat, but mine popped up without issue. I took another reviewer's suggestion and hung it up for a few days to make sure it stayed up the way I wanted. Some suggested putting a cardboard liner in to keep it upright during wear. Mine was fine without that, but it is definitely a good suggestion if yours does not stay up on its own. It is made of a thick material, but it is not supported by anything other than the material itself. If you are looking for a true "Slash" replica, this is not it. You will need to spend $100+ for the real mccoy. If you want a good costume version, this is definitely a great version for a costume. It was perfect for my costume party purposes.

The hat itself is great for a costume. But the wig is pretty bad. I cut it off and used another wig, and extensions. Slash had a lot of hair and the wigs alone don't cut it!

The item was delivered on time and I am satisfied with the item. The price was descent. $20-$25 would have been better than $30. I wished the description was a little more detail in regards to the type of material the hat was made of. Other than that I am happy with it. Looks good. My husband is wearing it for an 80's party..going as..Slash of course. Thanks.

I liked the prices and how it worked out for us. People definitely knew who my son was dressed up as. He won his costume contest with this. But it is a thin wig, and doesn't seem like it would last through the year in storage. But we'll see.But we definitely got good use out of it this year.
