I bought this lipstick by mistake about 8 months ago but, that was definitely not a mistake. Love the creamy feel of it on my lips 💋 and definitely lasts a long time. I have now another one and will continue to do so. Revlon lipsticks are the best

I got the Va Violet shade, and I have to say it is not like the sample picture. The purple is more of a dark aubergine purple than the picture shows and the coverage has to have been photoshopped! It's a thin, matte gloss (as in not super shiny but not matte). No matter how much you put on it doesn't have the coverage shown and you can still see my lip colour coming through. Because it's lip-balm like, it doesn't stay for a second on the inner/mouth part of your lips. However, it has been a happy accident anyway. Despite it not being the shade I wanted from the picture, it is a nice colour and suits my skin tone. It feels moisturising and I'm not reaching for my lip balm like I do for matte ones. So I will actually wear this often and I really like it...it just wasn't what I expected.

The colour is stunning but applying it is very difficult. It's not a swipe and go lippy. I put a considerable amount of concealer on my lips before application and it often does the trick allowing the lipstick to apply evenly. Without this little trick, the lipstick looks all gappy and weird. For even better application and longer lasting wear, concealer, followed by a matching lip liner works a treat. The colour is worth the hassle but only just.
