Dip Pen Wood Calligraphy Oblique Nib Pen Holder

I love this pen holder. For the amount of money I paid, as most of us know pen holders can be very expensive, it is great quality. It has weight in your hand, which is not common for pen holders this price. The brass piece (ferrule/flange) is sturdy, and does not slip out of the top, it has some flexibility when applying pressure that you want, but is not too flexible. It fits all of my nibs, and I would be able to adjust the shape of flange if needed to fit smaller nibs. The wood is smooth, and the white resin is beautiful but comfortable in hand. The length is great. It looks great, feels great and writes great. And I am amazed at the quality for price.

VERY nice nib pen holder, and so far is very good quality. I believe the wood is walnut, and the white/off-white resin portion looks a lot like ivory. Too often items look better in listing photos than in person, but this item is definitely an exception to that. For me, this looks even better in my hand than in the photos! It’s worked extremely well for me and is my go-to oblique pen. Would definitely recommend and purchase again!

This is a lovely oblique nib holder. Aesthetically it is very pleasing and feels nice in your hand. This is best used with larger nibs (See photos). It will not accommodate very small nibs well as they move around in the clamp. Because the nib will be held low and tight, your shading will be more generous than at least I was used to, so take your time to get to know how it reacts and adjust accordingly. Be careful pulling nibs out with your bare fingers. Nice little affordable piece.

Looks great, well made and writes wonderfully. Nibs are easy to change out and holds them securely! It is such a nice addition to my lettering collection!

This is an excellent nib holder!!! Also, I'm a left handed writer & it works GREAT!!! Of course, I'm old school left-handed so I have to write sideways & toward me (very confusing, sorry). However, I have high praise for this holder.
