Ortho GroundClear Year Long Vegetation Killer2 Concentrate - Weed Killer Concentrate, Kills and Prevents Weeds Up to 1 Year, 1 gal.

Used tank sprayer, mix by directions (24oz per 1 gal water). Sprayed brick patio with lots of weeds/grass growing through. Seeing results in less than 12 hours. Final judgement is over next 12+ months. There is a residue left on bricks that I am wait for next rain to wash off. A good rain washed all residue off the bricks. Will update review with any additional pertinent information.

I originally updated this product. I originally gave it two stars. It's been a month since I applied it. I gave it a terrible review one week after applied. But now it's been a month and I changed it to five stars. This product does exactly like it says it does. It clears the ground completely to the dirt. It took longer to do as it was supposed to. Then it says it takes. But this product is well worth the money. It did exactly like advertised. Hope my review. I'm getting ready to order another gallon. Fantastic product!.

I bought this to mix in my sprayer because it was cheaper than roundup or spectracide, which I’ve used with success. but when I peeled back the label to read the instructions, I was shocked to learn that it takes 24 oz for a gallon. The others usually called for about 4 oz. I also bought this hoping that the claim that it keeps weeds away for a year is true. We’ll see. I just sprayed weeds in my front yard and back. After about half an hour I see the weeds are wilted and turning brown. If they come back in less than a year, I won’t be buying this again. It’s too expensive because of the dilution rate.

Does the trick for sure. Just be very cautious of your pets and strays of any kind.

The best! Follow the directions on the container, and you'll be set. This is my 4th year using Ortho, and I'll never even consider others. Works fast. And lasts the season...and beyond.

I've used this product before and generally it works well. The dilution rate makes coverage expensive. It doesn't clobbered weeds as quickly as other products. I like to use vinegar then follow up with Ortho. I've never had any issues with the container leaking. I would encourage everyone to follow the directions. It works well, but can be expensive for large areas.

This product came quick and was what I needed to kill weeds along the street and gravel pathway in front of my home. It took a while for the weeds to die, but nothing grew back this season saving me time with the weeder! Directions were easy to read. The plastic cap/lid separates from a sharp ring which has sharp edges, so wear gloves when you first open the lid to save your fingers from cuts from the plastic ring. I opened it bare handed and cut my fingers on the plastic ring. Ouch! Five stars if Ortho will redesign the lid so it wont expose your hands to toxic chemicals on cut fingers..
