I've tried at least 5 or 6 different fountains for my pets, and I can confidently say that this one is far better than the alternatives I’ve used. It has a large capacity, which helps keep the water very fresh for longer durations. One of the standout features is how extremely easy it is to clean; both the filter and the pump are simple to assemble and maintain compared to other brands I’ve encountered. Another great aspect of this fountain is that I've had no issues with scum or mold buildup, which is often a problem with other types. The separate drinking bowl also contributes to keeping the water cleaner for a longer time, making it more enjoyable for my cats. The accompanying app is fantastic, and my cats absolutely love using the fountain. Overall, it’s totally worth the price—it's cheaper than some alternatives I've tried while being far superior to them and to similarly priced options. The water flows well, and the entire unit operates very quietly, making it a perfect addition to our home.

Just brilliant. Combined with their pet feeder (and a cat flap!) this has enabled me to finally get away for a long overdue break recently, without worrying about feeding and watering the cat, in particular as it was seriously hot that week. Easy to clean and refill. Smart, clean looking. App enables control over on/off time of the fountain to manage energy usage (I have set to 1 min in every 10 - predicts 1.8w/h) and shows the prediction of the filter life depending on settings, enabling lengthening of filter life without necessarily compromising freshness or availability of water. The tray holds more than ample water (without the fountain actually being on) even for my large cat at a single visit, and the unit as a whole easily holds enough water for a couple of weeks, if needed, though I change every other day. Obviously I’d have someone look in on the cat anyway, and replenish if away for more than a 3-4 days, but if that’s not an option you wouldn’t need to worry, IMO. It’s well made and I’d say almost impossible to tip over- certainly not by the cat anyway! Operation is absolutely SILENT and doesn’t scare or startle Cookie even if it turns on whilst she’s drinking, nor does the gentle bubbling of the water bother when it does. No splash whatsoever. The status lights on the front show the unit is online / working and both the brightness and ‘on time’ can be fully controlled via the app. - I’ve mine set to ‘medium’ (permanently on) - they’re easy to see but equally don’t light up the entire kitchen at night. You get what you pay for. Purrrrrfect! 😻

Used this for several months and then today while cleaning, I notice the pump spindle is made of plastic? So I'm guessing it wears over time and today it snapped off. Normally pumps have metal spindles and are not a concern as they're critical to function yet for some reason they decided to cheap out and make a plastic one... Wouldn't recommend until this is addressed.

This is a good well thought out fountain and is generally good. The water purification work well and the fountain design stops the cats from popping the top off, which my Bengals keep trying to do! Cleaning is easy as the wet side just lifts away and there is a lot of stainless steel, so cleaning is a breeze. One of the key reasons I bought it was for the smart notifications. Well they aren't smart at all. All you can do is set scheduled reminders every few days, no different than setting a repeating alarm on your phone. I was expecting a notification message when the pump stops because the water level it too low. It does not do this. For this price I expected more, as other smart devices have push notifications.

I’m not sure why this water fountain is noted as being returned frequently. I have one in each suite of my commercial boutique cattery and they are fantastic. I’ve tried a lot in my time and this is the best. Silent operation. You can even set the light at the front to go off at a time that suits in the evening. The app works really well. I’ve only had them since Sept 2025 but so far so good. They are so easy to clean as well as the water container simply lifts off the base. I rarely write reviews but felt I had to stick up for this great water fountain.

I recently purchased the PETKIT Cat Water Fountain with the UVC Wireless Pump, and while my initial experience had a hiccup, I am overall very pleased with both the product and the customer service. Performance: The fountain itself is fantastic. It’s quiet, sleek, and my cat absolutely loves it. The water flow is perfect, and the UVC sterilisation feature gives me peace of mind knowing the water is clean and safe for my pet. The design is modern and fits nicely in my home. Initial Issue: However, the first unit I received had an issue where it did not detect a water shortage. This was a concern as it could potentially run dry, which isn’t ideal for maintaining the pump’s longevity or ensuring my cat always has water. Customer Service: The customer service was exceptional. Upon contacting them about the issue, they were prompt and very helpful. They facilitated a return without any hassle, and I was able to order a replacement unit. Resolution: The new unit arrived quickly and, unlike the first one, it accurately detects water shortage. This added feature has made a significant difference, and now I can rest assured that the fountain will alert me when it needs a refill. Conclusion: Despite the initial problem, I am very happy with the PETKIT Cat Water Fountain. The product works beautifully, and the customer service experience was excellent. If you encounter any issues, rest assured that they will be resolved efficiently. My cat and I are very satisfied with this purchase, and I highly recommend it.

I really like this product, after having it while. its far better than my previous Catit fountain, that was a pain to clean and the downgraded pump showed. The Petkit however is excellent. looks stylish and really is easy to clean, the pump is so quiet i have to look to see if the water is flowing. the best thing though, the wireless charge pad underneath. means messing with wires when you need to refill it. the downside though, and the reason its not 5 stars. are two fold. one the filters are not easy to source, that may have changed since this review. but im struggling to get some. second and by far the main reason for lower rating. all those nice features it has.... optional extras. i really wanted for example the notification for when the water is low or empty. sadly this feature is optional extra hidden behind a pretty big paywall. doesnt tell you in all its fancy descriptions. but once you have the app, to turn on notifications for the water level.... you need to connect your device to a main unit. why? considering its already connected to my wifi and app. you have to connect to a main unit, which then connects back to enable the feature. the catch... these main units are the few very expensive items they sell. the ones in the hundreds. why i need to connect to a automated pet litter try to tell my water fountain to tell my app, to tell my phone its low in water. so yeah. its an excellent product, but ignore the fancy corporate waffle of features. the app is basically useless. despite that, its worth the price i paid at the time. if it goes over the £50 mark... not so much.

Très facile d’utilisation ainsi que pour le nettoyage. De l’eau fraîche et purifie constamment pour mes chats, ils sont très heureux. Avec l’application, on sait voir quelques informations. C’est très pratique.

Wir haben den schönen Trinkbrunnen für unseren Kater geholt damit er immer frisches gefiltertes Wasser zu sich nehmen kann. Der Brunnen sieht optisch gut aus und stört in der Einrichtung unserer Wohnung nicht. In den Brunnen gehört ein Filter rein und man kann eine ordentliche Menge Wasser reinfüllen. 1x in der Woche wird das restliche Wasser von uns entfernt und neues hinzugefügt. Die Petkit App hilft uns dabei den Filterstatus zu sehen und natürlich zu wechseln wenn es soweit ist. Die Höhe des Brunnens ist für unseren Kater gut, und so wie es aussieht auch angenehm. Seit dem Kauf gab es keine Probleme ihn dadran zu gewöhnen. Der Brunnen ist kaum zu hören, höchstens das leichte platschen vom Wasser aber selbst das ist einfach absolut leise. Die Reinigung ist super einfach, die Pumpe lasst sich komplett entfernen was das reinigen viel einfacher macht. Es ist auch möglich den Behälter in der Spülmaschine zu reinigen.

Najlepsze poidło! CIche, bez kabla, łatwe do mycia. Koty zadowolone. 10/10. Super bardzo polecam.
