I cut this in half and used the two pieces as dock bumpers. I had to cut in the middle of the center hole for 2 equal pieces. I am using them vertically so I put the cut side down. It was easy to cut with my chop saw. It was also easy to drill new pilot holes. I ordered a 2nd to finish the job.

These bumpers are not hollow, as the picture of the product indicated, and cannot be mounted as intended. They are solid rubber and cannot be cut to length as desired.

This is exactly what I was looking for to protect my boat from a piling when coming into the dock. It is thick rubber that provides plenty of protection. Its is heavy so be prepared for that. It is durable as I have hit it a dozen times coming in off the gulf of mexico and it shows no wear. Its the perfect solution for a dock bumper. I like it and will be getting more for my other pilings and pier.

They are made very heavy duty and sturdy!

I was looking for something that was cuttable, as a bumper for my little electric truck. The photo of this item, which shows it is hollow, with 3 mounting holes, is completely false. There are offset holes on the back, which makes it impossible to cut to length without exposing these holes and making it look odd. Also, there are 4 mounting holes, not 3 like the photos show. This affected my install to the point of not being able to use it.
