Amazing - my doggo goes nuts for it
Expensive - yes. Best dog investment ever - yes! Well worth the money as my 2 year old cockapoo absolutely loses himself over it. He was a little confused about it on the first try but as soon as he saw it in action he was hooked. Really sturdy unit which is quite big but light. Easy functions and comes with a remote. It can be used plugged in or you can charge it up to take outside. The sound is not too loud like others on the market (from researching) and as soon as my dog hears the high pitch noise just before the ball is spat out, he gets super excited. It comes with 2 normal sized tennis balls, a rope ball and a sponge ball. All work perfectly through it. The range is good (pretty powerful actually). We have used it inside as well. I’ve put it away and my dog keeps hovering around it as he doesn’t want to stop! A definite recommend for any ball obsessed dog

Not the best.
I will be keeping this but I am very disappointed in the quality considering the price! It feels cheap and the balls are useless. My dog had broken 1 in minutes. The good thing is you can use proper tennis balls. I won't be buying the Idogmate ones as recommended. Wouldn't buy again at that price.

DO NOT BUY THIS PROCUCT
This is the second one we have received and ONCE again it stoipped working after only 3 days!! The problem is the trigger sticks and the machine then just runs and runs! Its impossible to clean the trigger and its also impossible to contact the supplier. Tried to send an email but their email address has expired - which rings alarm bells!!! We are returning this to Amazon and looking for a better product!!

Wish had bought when my dog was younger
My 8 year old lab loves tennis balls and is extremely sensitive to noise/fireworks/ringtones it’s a nightmare. I was a bit concerned that this would scare him. He get excited at the noise and steps back hoping to catch the ball anticipating the noise/ball launch. He’s a bit old to learn new tricks and think we should have got it sooner. He only drops the ball in with encouragement when we are there but then gets very excited by it. Not noisy at all, and he would know! Good launch distance too. Would be good if you could adjust the angle upwards or left/right but all in all it’s a great product and yes would recommend. Bit pricey but we do love our dogs !!

Rubbish….
I have the previous model that supposingly does 30ft, this model for “Big dogs” is exactly the same but a different colour and layout. And doesn’t fire anywhere near 40ft averages around 20ft on max power. Don’t waste your money I will be returning mine.

My big girl plays ball all day long whether you want to or not. Lol! She is a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Mix, so she is extremely intelligent and loves to play all the time. We use it inside so I just aim it where it won't break anything. It works with any 2.5 inch tennis ball. She learned how to load it herself the first day, but sometimes she brings it to me to load for her. She absolutely loves it. We have 2 other dogs a mini dachshund who is older and just kinda does what she wants, so sometimes she chases them. The other one is a rescued deer head chihuahua, so I have to load them for her of course. She loves to run and get them and I was finally able to get her to bring them back to me most of the time anyway. I was able to teach them to takes turns, so that works out really well. Any dog that loves to play will love this! I taught my big girl not to destroy her toys or balls, but I know that's could be an issue, so I recommend only getting out a few balls at a time while playing with them and putting them away right after. That way it is always a treat to play with! I am extremely happy with my purchase!!!

My dog loves this thing. Unfortunately, it is very cheaply made. Unlike a lot of other ball launchers, it has a bar that goes back and forth, pushing the tennis ball into the launch wheels. It died on me after 2 months of normal use. The pushing bar will work one time, then stick until the machine is cycled off and back on. I took it apart to see if it was something simple to repair myself, and inside this giant piece of plastic is just three Radio Shack-style cheap motors. It could easily have been a quarter of the size for what's inside this thing. The switch to move the bar is open metal, cheaply made and exposed to holes from the wheels that quickly accumulate fuzz from the tennis balls, pretty much guaranteeing a quick death.
