Easy to drink from, def spill proof!
We were actually nervous about our 13 month old being able to actually get water out of this, but it's surprisingly easy for him to drink out of, and it really doesn't spill! He loves walking and holding it, and for some reason he always drops it when he's done chugging and no water leaks out when it rolls around on the floor, it's perfect! Definitely recommend for little ones!

Throw out the moldy-valve sippy cups for your toddler, and great for older kids too
My children have sensory and motor skill issues, and are 6 and 8. On top of that, they're careless. They've still been using cups with lids and straws because of this... I can't handle the multiple daily spills. Unfortunately, the straws aren't great for developing the muscles in their mouths and jaws, which they have needed quite badly. So it's been a nightmare... either feel like a horrible mom and put a lid on it, or be ready to have them dribble down their clothes and then knock the rest over on tables and floors. It's really been a no-win situation. This is why I love these cups. Absolutely love love love them. They drink from them just like a regular cup, they don't leak really, at least not any more than any other sippy cup (and less than the straw ones). They also have to suck the liquid out slightly, which they did struggle with at first (those muscles weren't very well developed). The larger size has been great for them, being older... a thirsty kid their ages can drain the smaller cups in one go. They love them too because they look more like one of my travel coffee cups... not so babyish. I honestly hate that I bought a $9 cup, but I have to admit, I'd do it again. I really wish they'd had these as toddlers. I've had no issues with molding or funk so far, but I separate the two sections of the lid whenever I wash them. It's so easy... just press the center part and pull off the silicone top, pop into place when it's done (and I appreciate that you can slightly feel or hear it go all the way on, letting you avoid the mess of an unsealed cup). In all honesty, it's no more complicated than washing a baby bottle, and worlds better than washing those toddler sippy cups with the little leak proof valves (which, despite separating to wash every. single. time. always managed to grow mold). I love these things, and it's better for even toddlers than the sippy type lids. It's a no-brainer.

Durable and long lasting
We have used these cups for 6 years now for my special needs son who is 14. These cups allow him to feel like he is drinking out of a βnormalβ cup rather than a sippy cup. They hold up to his chewing, his throwing, and his slamming of the cup! The only 2 things I wish was different is the silicone insert tends to rip along the very edge where it is thinner and then the cup will leak alllllllllllllll over the place. The second issue is We also wish there were more color choices and designs, but that is nothing to take a star away for. Thankfully there are just replacement silicone inserts, but it is still a pain in the booty to find and then have to buy. They come apart easy for cleaning, and are also easy to clean. The silicone piece that is around the outside of the cup for easy gripping does also come off of the cup for detailed cleaning of all parts of the cup. If a kiddo doesnβt like holding the silicone piece, it is also easy for them to use the cup without that piece. Overall we recommend these cups for anyone with toddlers training for lidless cups, and special needs kiddos that tend to use sippy cups.
