Pricey but worth every dollar. I'd always had cold hands during Michigan winters. The mittens are very well and thoughtfully constructed and much superior to any gloves I've had. My previous gloves were too tight and I've ordered the mittens at a too large size, which probably reduced the effective insulation. However, at the coldest temperatures, this allows to me to either form fists inside the mittens or use liners (Northface etips work very well) or disposable hand warmers to keep my hands toasty. None of this is required during normal winter weather. i

These are the BEST mittens, EVER!!!!! In our family of five, we each have a pair. I do understand that they are pricey, however, they are most certainly worth it. Out on a winters walk, skiing, sledding—these will keep you toasty for the duration. I will only buy these from now on.

Wore these mittens for the first time this morning during an hour+ long walk along the beach with my dog. It was 1°F with wind chill temperatures in the -15°F +/- range. My hands were toasty the entire time! Great product and well worth the money.

Arrived in time for Christmas, fit was good, good quality, wife says their warm. Build was lighter than I thought they would for the price. Time will tell on durability

Very warm, these are my go to mittens when temperatures are less than 25 degF when skiing. These replaced my heated gloves.

Finally!!! I now have a pair of gloves that actually keep my hands warm in below freezing weather! Never thought I would be paying this much for gloves, but it's well worth the price in my opinion!

My fingers get painfully cold when I ski so I decided to go high-end with the Hestra mittens and end the suffering. They are amazing at keeping you warm, but like any mitts, lack dexterity. It's a trade off. Important note: These do run small IMO. I wear a large in most gloves and using Hestra's fit guide, I should be a 9. I order the 9 and they were way too short. I exchanged them for a 10 and they fit well in the length, but were ridiculously wide. I stuck with them anyway and went to Whistler. Halfway through the trip, the seam of one of the liners ripped. I ordered a new pair of 10s as a replacement and the ones that came were a full 1/4" less in width. This is not an exaggeration. I measured seam to seam on the leather palm and it had a 1/4" variation in width from one pair to the other. Basically, if you get a pair that fits oddly, dont assume another pair will have the same fit. In the end, I love the mittens, but it was a painful process getting a pair that was sized/fit correctly.
