Works great in restoring - step 2 could be slightly risky if over applied
Careful on step 2 it can sometime take the color off

Highest quality, no damage to fine leather
The best leather product I have ever used. . Used leather honey, obenauf's, and others. The rejuvenator actually lifts the dirt out of the leather. It was explained that the oil "rehydrates the fibers in the leather" the biggest improvement was on my porsche leather wrapped steering wheel and i didnt think it was dirty until the oil soaked in and I wiped it down . 10 out of 10 rating from me.

perfect product for my car natural leather
used on my S55 2004 leather seats which made it much softer ... left it for 2 days on the seats. note: the leather gets even more softer in the next 2 weeks after the application

I noticed that the surface texture was a little better, but the leather was still mostly shrunken
This leather rejuvenator worked really well for me. It took some time, to take effect, but it really restored my water damaged car seats. My project: 2009 BMW with optional 'Dakota' leather that was in pristine condition before.... The windows and sunroof were left wide open in an all-night rain. Not just a little wet, SOAKING inch-of-water on the floorborads kind of catastrophe. The leather was totally waterlogged, swollen and mushy, then shrank when it dried so the seat bottoms were hard and cardboard-like. For a couple-weeks I tried daily applications of mainstream leather treatment, with no effect. Then got over the shockingly high price and bought Leatherique rejuvenator/pristine. The stuff is nasty and sticky. Hard to wash off your hands. I applied it only to the seat bottoms initially and left the car in the garage for a few days (June in Houston, so quite warm). After cleaning with the leatherique cleaner, I noticed that the surface texture was a little better, but the leather was still mostly shrunken. I read somewhere that leather like this is sealed on the surface, so I didn't expect instant results, but it looked like the oils were getting into the leather (there has to be some surface permeability or the water wouldn't have soaked it, right?). I did two more multi-day applications over the next couple weeks and saw incremental improvements each time, but it took several more weeks for the shrinking to gradually relax. I assume this was because of the oils slowly diffusing through the leather. During this time, I also treated the shift boot and parking brake boot. The parking brake boot looked fine, but was always stiff and felt paper-like (in the 2 years I have had the car anyway). Since the shift boot and parking brake aren't really ever touched, I just left the oil on them for the last few weeks, and both have shown a remarkable improvement. I don't think they are the same quality leather as the seats, but both are feeling much more supple now, without a feeling of papery-crispness.

Great Results!
First of all, please be sure to read the instructions online if they were not included with the products!! I did not have any instructions included with my order so I went online. The Rejuvenator is applied first, and then the Prestine Clean. Yes, it's not in the order that many (including me) would assume. Granted, my car seats were in pretty good condition to start with, but using these products really helped condition the leather and make it softer. Also, I did not have any stickiness or tackiness after using the Cleaner, although I noticed that several people did experience that. There was some stickiness after I use the Rejuvenator but the directions say that is normal. Also, I did not notice any strong odor from either product, which is a good thing. In total, I can recommend this product as long as the directions are followed to the letter.
