Would someone be able to comment if this capture device will work on a Windows 8 64bit platform using Skype?

I had tried it on Win XP SP3. It didn't work. It worked perfectly on Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit for VHS video transfer to PC, but NOT for SkyPE. There is no reason using it as a video capture device for SkyPE. It should work on Win 8 if the driver is available from StarTech.
