Very soft and thick to keep feet warm. These are the best wool sock that I've found to be wearing around the home.

I bought these socks for my boyfriend for snowy winter days, but I came back and bought a pack for myself too because they are so incredibly warm and comfy. They really are SUPER thick, so they cannot be worn with certain shoes/boots because they are so thick; so that is definitely something you need to keep in mind. They have gone through the washer and dryer a ton over the winter and seem to be holding up very well. I do not dry them on high heat though, I try to remember to dry them at a lower setting because I would hate to fry them.

For 1 season of the year, these socks are on my feet almost all the time. I bought these ones to replenish my stock. I have previously purchased the same socks being sold by another retailer, they are identical gray wool socks. I initially just wanted to "buy again" and alas the seller is gone -- so I was pleased to find the same socks being sold by another seller. I do a moderate amount of winter hiking and these socks are great inside hiking boots to keep my feet cushioned and warm. I do wish I could find socks like this at an even lower price in larger quantity, but really in the big picture I think these are a good deal and I shouldn't complain so much.
