Just what I needed.
The deck edge where we step off into the back yard was getting badly damaged, especially from years of taking the garbage cans in and out. I've looked for a product like this for quite a while. The protector was easy to cut to length with a utility knife. The double sided tape holds very well but on the short downward side I did add some 3/4" twist-shank brass nails because the wood was in such poor shape. As with a lot of double sided tape, it wasn't easy to separate the backing paper from the tape. We found it best to attach the sticky side to the deck first then we used a utility knife and tweezers to get a corner started.
