I have several sweaters that are acrylic. While I don't like the acrylic, I love the shape of the sweater. I was using a de-pillar, and I was able to remove some of the bigger pilling, there were still a lot of pills remaining. I ordered this product hoping it would remove those pills, as the pills were making the seaters look old and cheap. When this de-piller arrived, I wondered how it would do anything, as it was so small. I was wrong! It is essential to read the directions and hold the depiller at a 45-degree angle. However, it did a fantastic job, much more quickly and effectively than the electric, handheld depiller I had been using. I was worried that it would damage the fabric, but it didn't. It just removed those awful pills, leaving the fabric intact.

I have two wool blankets we purchased in Ireland and use on daily basis. After some time, the blankets began to pill and look old. I absolutely love this lint remover! It is easy to use and it removed the pilling off the blankets. It works very well and my blankets now look brand new! I have found this tool to work better than pill remover with batteries and you don’t have to worry about battery life.

I wouldn't say that it makes your sweaters exactly like new, but it keeps them attractive. It's a good thing to do while you are watching TV - you will need to stretch the item out on a table for it to work correctly.

The advertisement fir this product promised almost new looking garment…It isn’t so. I expected more, but this little thing misses some of the lint balls,it is kind of sharp at the same tome and I am afraid it may cut the cashmere. It is easy to use, but without great result. Still trying it, but probably will return.

I have now used this comb on all of my merino clothes and socks and now they look new again. Goodbye pilling. I think I might gift one to all of my merino wool wearing friends

It arrived broken, but I was able to re-glue the coil to the handle. It works fine removing the pills/nubs from sweaters. For $10 though, it shouldn't need to be repaired, and too much of a hassle to return. The Seller reached out to me quickly to resolve, and I was issued a refund for the inconvenience. Would definitely try again as they gave wonderful customer service, something which is more and more difficult to find these days.

Way more time and effort than my hand held battery operated sweater pilling remover. I was hoping that it would remove pilling, but not take off as much as my current device. It took off more. I would take a pass on this and stick with my original tool.

An easy to use tool that gets your garments cleaned up in only a few minutes. I used it on a heavily pilled cashmere sweater and a lightly pilled merino wool cardigan and both came out looking brand new. From the amount of fluff that came off my garments -- heavily pilled (a lot) vs. lightly pilled (a little) -- it only scrapes off the pills and doesn't remove excess material. My garments were not damaged by the tool, and the tool itself felt sturdy and light.
