Feather light and comfy, but music quality is okay. Controls are easy to mix up.
Right off the bat, I'm just gonna get this out of the way, the sound is okay. They project the music into the ears well enough and you get hints of bass but definitely not a full rounded sound as from other types of headphones. I will admit in full disclosure, I'm a bit of a sound quality snob. I usually rock some over the ears big Sony cans to listen to music, so I'm spoiled. The real way these excel is exercise or working outdoors in the heat. Wearing my Sonys is really not an option for either because of the heat being trapped and my sweat slowly deteriorating the ear pads. These though are so light, airy and comfortable that I really liked them for working outdoors. Listening to podcast and music, they got plenty loud enough to clearly hear the audio. This style of headphones are also great at not making you isolated from your surrounding. When my wife or kids came out to talk to me, I could easily hear them and respond without them having to tap me on the shoulder to get my attention. The major negative though is the button controls. The buttons are small and mushy. They also are easy to mix up. So when you go to pause the audio to talk to someone, you accidentally skip a track or restart a podcast. Mildly frustrating, especially when you have gloves on, it happens a lot. Overall, for a middle tier cost set of headphones, they do alright. It has it's pluses and minuses, but it holds its own as a exercise or active lifestyle headphones. The price point is a little high for me for what your getting though. I would have like to see these in more the $30 range. Then I'd recommend them.

Great sound quality, light but use a proprietary power cord
I have been using bone conduction (called air conduction here) headphones for about a decade. I cycle year round in a major city in the Northeast named after an apple so it is EXTREMELY important for me to be able to hear the traffic or people around me. When I'm riding, especially on rides that can last 3 hours or more, I like to have my music playing though. Bone conduction headphones has been fantastic. The Rockshine headphones are very good, but not perfect. The headphones are VERY light so they won't cause any discomfort when worn for long periods of time. The ear cuffs are made of hard plastic to protect the electronics and the connection that goes around your neck is rubberized and flexible. That is great so you can toss them in a bag and not worry about anything bending or flexing and breaking. The power and volume buttons sit on the right and are easy to operate by touch without having to take the headphones off.The sound quality is very nice on the unit. I listened to music and made phone calls and the audio was crisp and clear and the other party could hear me speaking perfectly. I am comparing the sound to other, similar, headphones. If you are not familiar with these out of ear type headphones don't expect the same crystal clear audio as you would get on more expensive in or over ear headphones. These are meant to sit outside of your ear so that you can hear your music/phone but also hear what is going on around you at the same time.Pairing the unit to my phone was simple. The headphones were located and paired with no issue on my Galaxy S22 Ultra. Once connected, there was no dropping at all. There are two things that I didn't like with regard to these. The first, and it isn't going to be an issue for the majority of users, is that the headphones stick out a bit in back. I ride a recumbent bike and my neck and head are on a headrest. These stuck out a bit too much and kept moving. If you are riding an upright bike, running or using them in an office, it won't be an issue at all.The second, and much bigger issue, is that the charging cable is a magnetic cable that is proprietary. If you lose it, or it breaks, you will have to get a replacement directly from the company. It is also a problem when connecting. When I went to charge them on my desk, the cable came off repeatedly when they were bumped or moved. I wish they had gone with a more common USB connection that most people have for their phones. All in all, I think these are a very good set of headphones. When compared to my other, name brand headphones, they are of similar sound quality. While not as high quality on some materials used or the ergonomics, they are also coming in at a much lower price point. At $60 (the price at the time of this review) I think they are definitely worth the investment for the security of being able to hear both what you want to listen to as well as your surroundings.
