I love this little aquarium! It's the perfect size. The noise level is like "What noise?!" If you turn the water flow all the way up and the water level is down, it makes noise. Otherwise, it's very quiet! The set up was easy overall. I had a little trouble with the filter. There are no instructions! So, I couldn't figure out how to put them all together at first. Then realized there were a couple of different pictures and then I put it together like one of those and that was easy! I'm not sure my betta likes the light yet. We'll see. Overall, very pleased. Also, it came packaged very well and in perfect condition! That is appreciated!

I was super mad at this tank setup for several hours, but I really do have to give it 5 stars for its price. The light COULD be a lot better, a dimmer setting, a timer, anything. But it works. The tank COULD have a better base with some more support. But it works. The filter... Well, the filter is super maddening. The instructions are some of the most baffling things I have ever seen. They send instructions for like 4 types of filters and really no indication which one is yours. It comes with parts that don't seem to fit or seem to be missing. It's truly puzzling and quite enraging. But after AN HOUR of fiddling with it, I did get it working.... so... it works. It could be a little quieter... but its not loud. I think I would shop around before buying this again... but at around $30, its hard to beat the whole setup because it does look nice and it does all work. I didn't love the process, but the end result and the value truly does justify a 5 star rating at this price, especially if you want a simple setup all in one box.

I was a bit skeptical at first when buying the product since its made of glass, but the packaging was extremely well and no cracks or leaks were found. However the only thing I had a problem with was the filter product #4. For context I believe they send different filters for this product since the instruction manual had shown different versions. The filter that came was good until the filter cartridge was set. The filter cartridge did NOT fit the filter and instead had to be tilted sideways in order to fit. It still does a great job cleaning the water but sometimes the water in the filter does tend to rise a little bit which scares me since my outlet is right behind it. Besides that, the filter has a knob which changes the intensity of the water but it is very quiet and doesn't cause much noise, instead I find it very relaxing. The light is also good and very convenient for its size. This is an excellent starter kit for anyone wishing to get a betta fish or shrimp. I know it may seem small for a betta and people claim the minimum should be 5 gallons but this tank is better than the small cups they leave them in at the pet store.

I really like this fish tank. Doesn't take up much space and super cute. Stays clean longer than the other tank I had, too. Quiet and easy to put together. Worth the money! *** Update to add- didn't even last a year.

I give it 4 stars only because was hard to figured out how to make the pump work. Noise level is great very subtle, size perfect for small places or desk, easy to clean because is small

Don't buy this unless you're a psychic. No directions what so ever just a bunch of random pictures of different filters. I love the tank it's so cute. What difference does it make if you can't figure out how to use it. I even went on YouTube....still no help....

Could have came with a detailed set of instructions for the water pump. Realize the filter has the sit in there The way it came diagonally. It seems to be built sturdy and strong in my opinion, I think light fish lights could be brighter, but it's okay the way it is. I like the filter, it is very silent. It functions well. So far, no notice of any leaks, nice, bright, clear tank.Good size fits on my table well. The only thing I would have liked would have been a cover or lid to fit around the parts.

I was waiting for it and I opened it it looked fine and then I noticed that they did a pore job on the adhesive I tried to contact the seller but Amazon makes it so difficult as if they don't think the problem is serious at all they won't let you contact the seller my plants are going to die tanks to their little ai sistem that ant worth the time you waist on it with limited questions and answers that don't help half of the time and the only option left is replace the tank or return the tank for a refund

This filter given with this tank was very poor design. I spent over an hour trying to put it together. Well I failed. The equipment given felt like it was odds and ends, I felt like there were pieces missing and no real build could be made. Instructions were NOT clear. What a waste of money that was. The tank itself was beautiful same as the light. The filter is a useless piece of junk.

Süßes Aquarium. Sauber verarbeitet und die kleine Lampe nebst Hang-On Filter machen auch was her. Dem Filter muss man bei der Inbetriebnahme einen kleinen Becher Wasser geben damit er seine Arbeit aufnehmen kann. Ich nutze das Aquarium um Pflanzenableger, wie bspw. Efeututen wurzeln zu lassen und wollte dafür irgendwas anderes als eine plumpe Vase oder ähnlichem. Fische würde ich aufgrund der geringen Größe darin nicht halten. Für Neocaridina Garnelen, Schnecken, Urzeitkrebse, oder als Wabikusa, wäre es durchaus perfekt geeignet. Versand war schnell und ohne Schaden. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Bought this to create a shrimp tank and it's perfect. It's the perfect size to have in the office, the filter is really quiet that I don't hear it and the light is small but gives off enough like that my plants are all thriving. I've seen a few comments about the filter being difficult to put together because of the lack of instructions. On the box there are several pictures so you'll just have to look and put it together based on that. You can install the spinny thing which helps to avoid oil films on the surface, but as I have baby shrimps, I didn't put this on as they would get sucked in. The cylinder sponge goes on the bottom of the filter to stop shrimp/fish babies from getting sucked into the filter. Also, on first install, the filter might sound like it's not working, you just need to pour some water in to help it along. The only thing I'd say is that I'm not sure where I can buy the fabric filter to replace the one in the filter, but I have been rinsing it regularly so it's not too much of a problem.
