How do you adjust rotation? It says 25 to 360 degrees! Does red cap come off? No instructions comes with sprinkler

To adjust the angle of spray the 2 gold snap ring clips have to be in the upper channel the long side is the one that sets the stop point for the actuator arm return directions . To go 360 the 2 gold snap ring clips have to be on the lower channel to clear the actuator arm. Hope this help

Does this come with a base?

The base is a 2” pipe fitting you have to Build your own base.

what size water hose do you use?

Uses 2” hose. I connected with 2” aluminum cam lock fittings using the 2” NPT on the sprinkler
