SIM Theme Park (Gold Edition)

I love this game. The graphics and sound quality are defiantly from the 90s but the game is still really fun to play. This game is mostly for kids and adults who played this when they were younger.As for being able to load the game, the first land worked perfectly on my windows 8. I tried to play the other lands but they crashed. So I went online, downloaded a patch (didn't get any viruses), and the game worked perfectly. If you want to play the game and are worried about it not playing on your new computer/laptop, have no fear. Within 30 mins of searching for a patch and downloading, I'm was able to play the whole game perfectly.

This was made for Windows 98. I spent hours trying to get it to work on my Windows 10 computer. There is a place online you can download the game and some fixes for free. This CD doesn't work so don't buy it.

I out of the blue remembered this game that I use to play back in the day and was so happy to see it still available. I have Vista so I was slightly worried I would have problems and I did at first, it would move really slow. It was a quick fix though. I Just right clicked the shortcut icon, went to properties,then compatibility, and set it compatible to XP.It hasn't crashed or given me any problems yet. This game is fun and addicting and im glad to see it out here. Came fast and im very happy!

I really love this game--it's less complicated than roller coaster tycoon. My mother gave this game...my 1st game now that she's gone I treasure it. The only downfall to this game is if you're running XP it keeps crashing regardless of your settings but a guy in uk has a fix for that problem. I kept having to replace game I just wear it out. I use this game late at night when i need a nice slow non-thinking game. I'm recommend it to anyone who's looking for a relaxing game.

This game is fun. I like building my own theme park from scratch. Although, I feel that the four different worlds/themes/settings you can build your theme parks on are a few too little. The game takes some patience and shouldn't be rushed into. If you're not too good on the waiting aspect, I suggest you get a different game. The parks have huge room for expansion and you can continually get new rides/buildings to build. It also provides room for creativity with miscellanious structures that fit the respective theme of the park. I do get some glitches here and there but that might just be my computer. Overall, it's a great game and fun to play.

Didn't work on girlfriends computer. Cant remember why. Just remember we were all upset.

I used to love this game as a kid and bought the newest version. When I got it I installed it immediatley and once installed I tried to play it and nothing happened. So I tried two other computers I have and the install button would come up and nothing happened after that. Very dissapointing. I also tried the the patches online to fix it for Xp and still nothing. Even though the game sucked the seller was very helpful. It might work for Windows 95/98. THIS GAME DOES NOT WORK FOR XP, SO IF YOU HAVE XP DONT BUY IT. SIM Theme Park (Gold Edition)

As a kid I had just the original SIM theme park minus the 'gold edition' so I knew I would love this. The graphics are old but it is an old game so that's to be expected. Still fulfills my needs.If you're getting the gold edition just know that you'll have to install the original game and then the gold edition. Two discs.Love it. :)
