These are the BEST PELLETS I HAVE EVER TRIED!
These pellets are the REAL DEAL!! No more synthetic smoke taste!! Better burn in fire pot. Less dust is very noticeable!! Will NEVER buy another brand of pellet!!! Flavor is fantastic on the beef chuck roast that I smoked. Full disclosure, I took apart my Pit Boss pro 1100, and wiped down clean all loose grease, shop vacโd old ash, cleaned grates with pressure washer. Cleared auger tube with vac. Started fresh on a 3 year old pit with around 100 hours on it. I NOTICED THE DIFFERENCE, with these pellets.

Real wood versus artificial flavoring
After checking the internet for smoker pellets, I was glad I did. I saw a review that called out ALL of the name brand smoker manufacturers that promote โtheirโ brand of pellets. In the review, there are only 2-3 large manufacturers of smoker pellets. Each one has contracts with the smoker manufacturers and these 2-3 companies produce pellets for MANY companies, including private label brands. Here is the shocker. ALL of these pellets are made of a hardwood, but not the ACTUAL wood you thick you are purchasing. All of these alleged โwoodsโ are all the SAME wood, but with FLAVORINGS added for whatever smoke you are seeking (i.e. hickory, pecan, apple, mesquite, cherry, etc. etc.). This brand I purchased via Amazon, was one of only three companies I found that process and manufacture wood pellets from the ACTUAL wood on the label/bag. Also, they use all wood and zero bark. They do not add flavorings to mimic the wood flavor you think you are purchasing. If you donโt believe me, go to any big box retailer and/or home improvement store and look at the labels on those brands bags. After making this purchase, I couldnโt believe the difference in flavor. Also, far less ash/burn off. I say shame on the large smoker manufacturers that push โtheirโ(?) brand of pellets, especially when they sometimes cite that you should not use a cheaper brand of pellet, when in fact, in my opinion, their brand of wood pellets are far inferior to these few companies that use the actual wood stated on their labels. I WILL be using these REAL wood pellets of the type of wood on their labels versus an artificially โflavoredโ wood pellet that the others widely sell.

worth the extra cost
I can't see me using anything else. I have tried a few others before spending the extra money on these. instead of just adding smoke. this adds flavor. it's so nice. I ended up buying 3 more bags.

Night and Day difference compared to the Factory Brand Pellets
If you are at all cooking something slow - and - low, get these pellets now. I was very disappointed in the amount of smoke produced by the branded pellets that I purchased with my Grill. I wanted a nice hearty bbq-joint deep smoke to my meat, and got just a hint of smoke to my meat after cooking at 180 for a few hours. Much research brought me to these pellets. These provide an awesome robust flavor when used at low heat on the pellet grill. My ribs had a beautiful smoke ring. My whole chickens were nice and smokey. My sausages tasted like they'd been hanging out in a forest fire (in a good way). For high temperatures, anything over 275 or so, there is really no difference and you may as well just use up the remaining factory branded pellets to keep the grill hot. The smoke produced at that temperature is pretty minimal and there is no difference, at least to my taste buds, between these and the factory pellets with all of their fillers. I'm hooked now. I should just have a pallet of these bad boys delivered to my house every few months or so. If you know of an even better pellet to smoke with, I'm all ears, but for now this is it. UPDATE: I had to drop a star from my review. I have a Traeger Pro Elite grill and live where it usually doesn't rain very often. We got a good dose of rain just after Thanksgiving, and I forgot to put my cover over my grill after the turkey was cooked (not sure if it would've helped). While I didn't find any standing water anywhere in my pellet hopper, I found that some of the pellets had turned to sawdust and formed back together into a giant pellet in my hopper. That wasn't a huge problem in itself, but the lump of pellets that were in the auger did the same thing and the motor would not turn the auger at all. I had to tear apart my feed system and really work to break up the lump of wood that had formed around the auger. Took far too long, and needless to say I didn't get to smoke my chicken that night either. I'm not sure if some rain water was able to seep into the grill (I didn't see any standing water at all) or if it was just the moisture in the air, but be careful with these as once they are broken down and reform they become very hard to break apart. I might start emptying my hopper after each use, especially in the "winter" months.

Works great and a little cheaper.
I do a lot of pellet grilling being single, and I cannot really tell the difference and the smoking of the cooking on my grill. I have two pellet grills a Traeger and a pit boss and I use it in both of them equally I was looking something less expensive and I found these pellets and they were great!!

Excellent, versatile, pellets
I bought these when I got my first smoker - Camp Chef DLX PG240. The mixture burns well and adds excellent flavours to the food. There is good moisture content to these that I haven't need to use a water pan. I look forward to trying their single wood type pellets
