I really like this puzzle - the picture has a lot of cute stuff going on (which makes puzzles easier for me). I've never done a wood puzzle before - I liked how sturdy the pieces felt. They are pretty small, which I didn't mind. I'm not sure how the size of them compares to other wooden puzzles. I LOVE the 50 unique shapes - I always got a little thrill finding them - a car with a tree on top, wine glasses, etc. They made me happy.Note: There is a paper inside that says if you are missing any pieces, they'll send them to you and you just have to pay for shipping. I didn't test that out, but thought that was nice.

However, some of the puzzle pieces are significantly smaller than normal puzzle pieces, so be prepared to exercise your dexterity! Also, the pieces, being made of wood, are rigid and easy to break, so you'll want to handle them gently. There is a pattern on the back of all the pieces so it's easy to know which side is up. And there is an interesting odor, almost a smokey smell, coming from the pieces. It must be related to the manufacturing process, but it is definitely noticeable.We're just now starting to put the puzzle together, but my wife and I are having a great time with it. Recommended for everyone that likes to do puzzles during the holidays, and doesn't mind a smokey odor.

I love puzzles with items as shapes for the pieces. This one has plenty of those to be on the look out for their correct placement. This is a gorgeous Christmas scene bustling with life and loads of festive colors. At 500 pieces, it is large and will take many hours to finish. We like to do our jigsaw puzzles together as a family. More people make a puzzle so much more enjoyable. This is a terrific one to share! The pieces are thick and the box picture is perfect for a guide.

My wife did the puzzle and there were 2 missing pieces. She was not happy. Item was returned for refund.

I just received it today and started working on it. The pieces are very small and seem very fragile. Very disappointed with the quality because the picture of it looks so pretty! Hopefully the pieces don't break as I try to work on it and finish it. I won't be purchasing another puzzle from this company and I would not recommend this brand to others looking for a good puzzle. I still gave two stars because when I am done the picture might still be nice.

Puzzles are a real treat for me. This was a present for me, by me. I am quite happy with the puzzle and would be even happier if I could sit and make all the edges in one pile and begin. I have never had a wooden puzzle but from looking at the pieces and the color, I may get another one. Due to a family situation I can't invest the time but I am excited the puzzle is here and waiting for me. Get yourself a treat or a treat for the family. This is a cute Christmas puzzle with thick pieces. The picture is well printed and it was challenging to put together but fun! It would make a good gift!
